Until now, I have lived without trusting anyone but my brethren.

But...

Ariane then looked at Eldrad once again and said, "Eldrad Ulthan, is it possible to hire you, right here and right now?"

"Let me guess, you want my help in rescuing any captured elves, correct?" Eldrad questioned as she nod, "Hmph, do you even need to ask? Still, thought. Won't your comrades maybe against hiring the likes of me?"

"You're right. Some of them won't be happy." Ariane admitted, "But you have no problem saving our kind, so..." She then gives out a hand to him and said, "Will you?" She said, offering her hand to him.

Eldrad then looked at the offered hand and finally said, "Of course..." He then clasped his hand to her and said, "Now let's go save those elves, shall we?"

Meanwhile, at some sort of cliff somewhere....

Eldrad and Ariane appeared in a warping light.

Ariane groan as she clutched her head of the headache she is receiving, "Forgive me for the headache, Ariane. It takes time to get used to that. I apologize for not warning you earlier." Eldrad said to the elven warrior.

Ariane doesn't respond at first as she rubbed her head to cleanse away the headache she is feeling.

After finally having a moment of clarity as she opened her eyes, she then gasped in shock, "No way. This is the Lydel River, right?" She then looked to the other side to see a city, "Then, over there is Diento."

"Of course, Ariane. Unfortunately, as much as I want to transport ourselves into the city, it will be troublesome if we appear from out of nowhere. So, here is where we will start." Eldrad explained.

"I'm really surprised. You used teleportation magic without chanting. But, why do feel like a headache coming along?" Ariane said, groaning at the mental pain she is feeling.

"As I said before, it will take some time to get used to. And much more so considering how inexperienced you are at teleportation magic. That I can assure you." Eldrad explained.

"Well, it doesn't matter. With you on our side, we can certainly rescue those elves from those 'Mon-Keigh' you call them, right?" Ariane said, empathising that word more.

"Exactly." Eldrad said in agreement.

"What does 'Mon-Keigh' mean actually?" She questioned him.

"Hmph, if you must know, it means 'those who are to be exterminated'. But to be honest, I call those few humans with a similar meaning towards primitive primates. And what they did to your kind, their names are fitting." Eldrad explained the meaning of the word.

Ariane smiled in understanding at the phrase, "In that case, let's save the elves from these worthless Mon-Keigh."

"Oh, absolutely." Eldrad declared in agreement.

Meanwhile, in the city of Diento...

The people are all minding their own business as unaware from their thoughts, Eldrad and Ariane, alongside, Ponta, are all hiding in an alleyway.

"So, Ariane. What is the plan exactly?" He questioned her.

"Meeting my comrade, Danka, right here." Ariane explained as Eldrad nodded in understanding.

"Ariane..." They all heard a male voice as they turned to look at who it is.

He appears to be a man wearing a hooded coat and rucksack around his body as well with the only appearance beneath the hood is not only the blonde hair but also the glaring eyes from said elf.
