See You Again

Chapter 30: #Theen

Theen's POV:

When I came home, I was surprised that the lights inside the living room is still on.

I came back home late because, I don't really want to deal with June. I couldn't deal with him right now.

Then the memories of what Dr. Jung has confessed to me played inside my mind.

"You should take your condition seriously. Your cancer is not moving downward. And because you had not been taking proper medication, I'm afraid to say but we couldn't do more about your condition if this thing continues. You have to take your medication. Having a cancer at stage 3 is not a joke. At this moment you should be at the hospital, taking some therapy sessions. I'm worried for you, if you continue to do this and ignore my suggestion it might get even worse quicker than what I've predicted."

Why me?

Why do I always have to suffer this much?

Why do I have to suffer in this life?

All I want is a normal life just like what anybody has.

Yet, I couldn't even have one without losing one... And now, I'm about to lose everything. Just great.

I opened the door calmly and quietly as possible. But then I was startled when someone grabbed my arm-wrist suddenly.

"Woa---?!  June?"

I looked into his eyes deeply.

I'm about to lose everything...

Including him.

I was trying my best not to cry in front of him and look pathetic again.

"Where did you go? I came home early today, but you aren't home already when I came home. I called Greg but you aren't with him too either."

"It's not part of my job to let you know in everything else that I'm going to do. Neither that, I wanted to tell you. Besides, this is my life. And we already had our own deal right? So, I hope you stay away from me."

"But you're still my husband. And speaking of that deal. I never said that I'll do stay away or leave you. I said that for one month---"

"For one month, you're going to leave the hell out of me after you make sure that your family's business is doing well. Nothing more, nothing less."

"B-but--- what about, if it failed. What if our business still needs your company's support. How can I make sure that you'll still help us?"

I will always help you... Because, I love you so much.

If you only know what I'm capable to do just because of my love for you. I'm willing to give you my everything, including my whole life. But sadly, I'm about to die...

"Your business falling down after everything that our family has done for it only means that, it is not worth it.  So don't expect me to support your company forever, after our marriage ends, I'll stop funding your company and every connections that we have will be cut off. I won't stand and then waste all of my family's wealth just for your own gain. Our family has nothing to do with yours."

I was about to walk away when he grabbed my hand again and made me turned towards him. I was now facing him. And we're just an inches away from each other.

"How about my feelings for you? Will you still not give me a chance for it? I said that I think, I'm falling in love with you. No, in fact I've fallen for you already. *He caresses my cheeks softly making my heart beat so fast, and making my whole world to revolve around him.* Let me show you how I really feel for you. I promise that, you'll change your feelings too just like what you did to me. Let's give us a second chance, hmmm?"
