Chapter: 01

Lisa's pov

Sitting in my room while the tears falling down my cheeks. After the death of my father I was not able to face myself. I was weak. I was hurt. The father who gave me the love had now left me forever. First my mother and then here, now, my father too.

The torture I had got from my step mother was really hard to take. The way she had behaved with me, I wish I could also have gone to my parents. I could have been happy with them, there.

But I can't! My dad had promised me that after his death I'll live my life. He wanted me to be a good girl. And I can't take my parent's name down. I'll live my life with a happy start!

I took a deep breath before saying
"You can do it lisa! You are strong! You should not give up like this!"
I wiped my tears away and stood up! I looked at my parent's picture and said

"I know you are not by my side and it had been 4 years my mom left me, and it's also been 1 and half year my dad too left me."

I took a deep sigh before saying
"But afterall  I'm your daughter and I'll not give up on my life like this! I will enjoy my life." She said with a hurt voice.

The last sentence made her eyes again filled with tears.

"How will I take this cruel world!?"
I thought.
"No, no, no, no!!!" I slapped my face lightly.

"Stay strong Lisa!!! Stay strong!"
I said and placed the picture back in the drawer.

"Lisaa!!!" Someone called me from downstairs. Obviously my step mother.

"Yes, coming!" I replied back and went down.

As I reached there I saw my step mother standing there with her arms crossed and an angry face.

She walked towards me and said
"Here's the suitcases! You are leaving this house right now!" She split out.

WTF!!
 

I widened my eyes "w-what? Leave this house?"

"Yes! Didn't you heard me!? You are leaving this house right now!" She shouted

"Why!? This is my father's house and I'll not leave from here!" I shouted too.
I think I did a mistake.

"Did you just shouted on me!? You know what!? pack you bag and leave right now!!! I can't see you here anymore!"

"No, I would not!" I Said. The next thing is that I got a tight slap from my step mother.
As usual.

I tried to hold my tears and placed my hand on my cheek which was now red.

"Didn't you heard me!? Leave!!" She shouted and left from there.

I ran up in my room and packed my things. I took the money I have saved and went from there. What else can I do? I can't do anything! I can't!

As I walked out from my house I thought of only one person and that's my best friend. Jennie!

I sat in one cab and told the driver to drive me at the place.

Soon I reached at Jennie's house. I took out my suitcases and paid the money to the driver as he left.
I went towards the door and pressed the doorbell.

"Coming!" I heard a voice from inside, I stood straight and took a deep breath

The door went open. There was Jennie standing there with a amazed look on her face

"Lili!!!!!!!!" Jennie said and hugged me tightly. I hugged her back with a fake smile.

Jennie broke the hug and looked at me
"Lili! How are you and...." Jennie looked at the suitcases with an confused look and looked back at me.

"Lis, what's with this bags and suitcases?" Jennie asked with a confused look.

"Don't cry, lis!" Jennie said and Patted my back calming me down. I sobbed and cried.
Soon Everything was silent just my sobbs was been heard in the room

"It's okay.. you can live here okay?" Jennie comforted me and convinced me to stay at her place.

"I'm really sorry for that I'm giving you so much trouble."  I sobbed more. Tears again forming in my eyes.

Jennie noticed it "lis.... Don't cry!" Jennie hugged me. Feeling sad. She Patted my back and after sometime I stopped crying and now I and Jennie were heading upstairs towards my room.

Jennie stood infront of a room and opened the door and guided me inside.

I placed the suitcases on the bed and looked around.

"So, this is your room okay?"  Jennie said with a smile "and... If you need anything then you can tell me, okay?" Jennie said and walked towards the door

"Thank you, Jen!"  I said. She stopped on her way and looked back at me

"If you said sorry thank you and soo then I have to take you out from my house, got it!" Jennie said with a fake angry face.

I laughed lightly and nodded. She went out and closed the door.

I quickly took out my clothes and stuff and placed it in their place. After arranging the things I took out the photo frame and kept it on the night stand beside the bed.

I walked down while looking for Jennie but I didn't saw her. I decided to go in the kitchen. She was also not there in the kitchen. Then I heard some sound of laughing.

I followed the sound and it was coming from the main hall. As I reached closer I saw Jennie and one man sitting on the couch while laughing. The man's back facing me.

Jennie noticed me, she stopped laughing and called me
"Hey... Lis! Come here!" She guided me to the couch and I sat there.

"Lis, meet jimin, my boyfriend" Jennie introduced me to him.

The man smiled and said
"Hey, I'm park Jimin nice to meet you!" He forwarded his hand to me with a smile on his lips.

I accepted his hand and we both did a handshake "hello, my name is lalisa Manoban. Nice to meet you too"  I also replied with a smile.

"I'm really sorry for asking you that!" Jimin apologized.

"It's okay.. you don't need to say sorry." I said with a fake smile.

"I really feel sad for your loss of your parents." Jimin Said but suddenly he said
"Lis! I have an offer for you!"

I looked at him in a confusing look
"What do you mean?" I asked.

"You know the kim company right?"
Jimin asked me. I looked at Jennie and again at Jimin and nodded

"Great! You know The company is finding an  personal secretary for the CEO of the company"

I looked at him with my wide eyes "really? Can I get a job there?"

"Yes, you might get the job. Because I can see you are really talented and smart!" He commented

"Yes lis! You should try to apply for the job!" Jennie said and they both waited for my answer

I thought for some minutes and nodded.
They both smiled at each other and at me.

The rest of the day went well.... It was really good by meeting with Jimin. He is friendly and nice. Hope that tomorrow will also be good for me. Hope that from now on I'll do my best for myself!
