"um, so, would you like anything?" jimin asked, breaking the awkward eye contact, " i could go up there and order if you'd like."

"oh, um, just a caramel latte." he answered, shyly digging through his bag for money.

before he could retrieve the amount needed however, jimin grabbed his hand stopping him, "no need, i'll pay. i am the one who dragged you here after all." he said, smiling.

"no really, its-"

"jungkook, i'm buying our coffees. you're not going to convince me." jimin said, cracking a slight smirk.

"ok whatever, just don't expect me to owe you something back." the younger replied.

"i won't, don't worry." jimin said, ruffling up jungkook's hair as he stood before giggling off to go order.

jungkook just watched as jimin placed his order. brushing black his blonde hair, in those tight, tight black jeans and a grey shirt that fit him just right. he pulled down his mask to be heard louder to the lady at the cashier. the way his lips slowly moved and the slight smiles he made while ordering had jungkook's heart melting. the way he spoke with such kindness and understanding was making the younger feel ways he'd not felt before. he wasn't sure what it was, but he brushed it off to his shyness around new people.

however, seeing jimin speaking so soft and delicately to that lady made a surge of jealousness rush through him. why? he had no clue, and he really hoped it was nothing.

he quickly diverted his gaze, muttering reminder chants in his head.

gays are weird.

gays are weird.

gays are weird.

but jimin is so beautiful.

but gays are weird.

is jimin gay?

gosh, jungkook, you can't ask that, just shut up already.

thankfully, he saw the latter returning with two cups in his hand, walking drunkenly with the biggest smile on his face, slowly being covered by the mask he was pulling up. "i'm back, love." jimin said, that smile still evident through his eyes.

jungkook's head shot up at jimin's choice of words, trying to hide the subtle blush he was not wearing on his cheeks as jimin set their coffee's down. "do you call everyone love?" he asked, thinking out loud.

"oh, i didn't mean to, it kinda just slipped out. sorry if it bothered you." he said, his eye smile slowly faltering away.

"no, no, it's ok, i like it." jungkook replied, trying to make his smile comfortable through his mask.

an awkward silence fell over them as they both lowered their masks to take a sip of their coffee. well, jimin thought jungkook was just going to take a sip, but the boy basically drowned it as if it were a shot. i don't think he realized just how hot the coffee was till afterwards.

"SHIT. THAT HURTS. FUCK. THATS HOT AS SHIT. FUCK. JIMIN." the brunette started blaring, slightly lifting off his seat, fanning his mouth with his hands.

the blonde started laughing his head off. tears were escaping his eyes as he watched the younger scramble around, panicking at the feeling inside his mouth and throat. jungkook looked like he was putting on a dance routine, dancing around like a bird, slightly laughing but struggling at the same time. he was staring at jimin, mouthing water, but jimin's body had gone physically weak from the laughter, he was leaning over the table, not able to control the giggles leaving his mouth.
