It's strange how she can say she's not really prepared to deal with situations like this again, she can't seem to swallow her defeat.

She let out a soft grunt when she felt a light tap on her left cheek. This time, hindi na malalaking kamay ang nararamdaman niya, more like a kid's touch kaya nagtaka siya.

"Ate, gising!"

"Is she okay Ri? Maybe you slapped her too hard!"

"Tigil nga, bilisan natin bago matumba si kuya! Miss pakiusap, gising!"

The voices went from blurry to clear at napamulat ang mata niya nang marealize na mga bata ang tumapik sa kanya.

What the hell? Kids ganitong oras?

"There she is! I-guide mo Ri or like just carry her or something!" the smaller kid said.

Nagpaligoy ligoy ang tingin niya at napunta sa lalaking tumapik sa kanya. She scanned his face, pero hindi niya naman masyadong kita dahil madilim. He's probably 12 or 13? No idea.

"Miss, kaya mo bang lumakad? Bilisan na natin please!" Tarantang sabi nito kaya napapikit siya ulit at nagulat nang pagmulat ay may sumigaw.

"Rios!"

Parang nagslow motion ulit ang lahat. The man's body na nalipad is coming to their way at doon niya lang narealize ulit kung ano ang nangyayari.

"Watch out!" she warned.

She quickly pushed the kids, with her full force to give space sa pagitan nila and fortunately doon naglanding ang katawan ng isang malaking tao.

Her anger built up inside her at napatayo kahit medyo nahihilo pa rin siya. She glanced at the man na bumagsak sa pagitan nila. She kicked his face nang umubo ito and saw him eventually closed his eyes shut, coughing more blood. That's it, pay for it.

Oh God. The question is, who the heck would throw a man this huge? May ibang tao pa ba? And by the way, where's the other fat guy?

She took a glance on the kid na tumapik sa kanya kanina. He's hugging the little one, probably his brother or something.

Where did they came from?

"Miss, tara na po!" rinig niyang sigaw nito at nagulat siya nang hinila siya nito. Teka teka! Are they going to save her?

"Sorry pero, I need to find the other tao. There's two of them" she pointed the unconscious one. "All bad men!"

Shit. Where are their parents ba? Ang delikado dito!

Napaigtad siya nang may marinig na malakas na tunog ng bakal. Damn! That's the weapon she picked earlier.

She shushed the two kids and ordered to follow her. Sumunod naman ang mga ito.

The three of them tip-toed 'till they reached the corner with the dim lights as their guide.

Maingat siyang sumilip para tingnan ang mga mahinang ingay sa kabilang parte ng wall. To her surprise, there's no one in there. Pero laking gulat niya nang may bumagsak sa harap niya kaya agad siyang napasandal. Nagslide pa iyon papunta sa mga basurang nakatipon.

As she quickly looked at him, she noticed something, he's more slim. Who is this guy?

"Kuya!" rinig niyang sigaw ng katabi niya at nagulat siya nang tumakbo ito papalapit sa lalaking nakasalampak doon at habol ang hiningang napatingin sa kanya.
