You were arguing with her?

"Uh.... Yes?" Emrys was doubtful he didn't know what to say. The one who was scared was not him but the princess beside him, possibly his cousin
Emrys was simply confused. It should have been him was supposed to be punished as he is a guest magician who disrespected the princess instead Claude just looked at him and the girl too tired to speak. He looked away and ordered Lucas to take his student and leave. Before they could reply he left and took Felix with him.
Anyway Lucas didn't seem to want discuss this topic with him and left.

Abrielle Pov:
Grandfather.....
Such a familliar word yet one that holds no meaning to her. Her grandfather no grandfathers were not like what others told her he was like. When she first met with her maternal grandfather, he looked at her eyes for a second and looked away. He seemed uninterested. Abby was only 4 at that time so she was sad. But now seeing that a boy who arrived a day ago was more interesting to him than her doesn't feel right. Her grandfather was not someone who spoke unless necessary. He didn't wish her good morning nor replied to anything she talked about. His eyes always seemed to be lost, he was looking at her but at the same time he wasn't there. It was confusing. At that time she was very young she didn't bother much about it and kept on talking about this and that. Now that she is older she understands somehow. Her grandfather was not bad in any means he was indifferent about everything as if he didn't care about anything anymore. As a matter of fact after he woke she had went to meet him and he somewhat seemed disappointed to see everyone.
Her paternal grandfather wasn't any better. Though he wasn't indifferent like Claude, he was always asking her to do better. It didn't even make sense. Like how once he had asked her to learn a part from a book of complex mathematics because the Marquis XXX's daughter had learned it. And mind you the Marquis's daughter was 11 yrs old while she was 6. Overall she doesn't particularly like her grandfathers.
Claude's presence was like a cold mountain of ice which she couldn't melt nor could she see the top off while Roger was more of a person who didn't care if she was a child and only wanted her to do better no matter how much she tries she could never gain the attention of Claude nor the appreciation of Roger.
Her Father was a very good man. He indulged her in every way. He showered her with love and everything she needed. In a way Claude would give her anything mostly she wanted but Roger would just say her to not spend on things that would be useless. Out of all of them her father was her favorite. He would mostly be with her in his free days and teach her. He didn't scold her like Grandpa Roger or Teacher instead he would pat her head and say- "let's try again. I'll help you this time." He was there for her and she knew it. She wasn't sure about her mother though her mother listened to everything her paternal grandfather says. She loves sweets and is always going on about dresses and etiquette. She didn't like her she liked her nurse more. Her nurse's name was Vinny well that's what she called her. She made her food, she helped her dress, she was also the one who helped her find her best friends Serra and Jia. Their always there for her. She likes them their not like the girls who came here solely because she was a princess. They were fast, naughty and they could fight like warriors. She hadn't learned how to fight it was one more thing she will have to learn but her grandfather and mother rejected the idea. They told that she was a princess, that she would get engaged soon and she will have to be polite. Abby had responded with- "But Mother Princess Athanasia had learned how to fight-" She was slapped for it. She didn't know why but every time Athanasia was mentioned in front of mother when grandfather was there she would get visibly angry. But when grandfather was not in the capital she would sit in the garden and whisper in a small voice. Which if Abby didn't pay attention to wouldn't have caught, It was 'I'm Sorry' and something like 'Athy'.
She wasn't an idiot she knew Athy meant Athanasia so then why was her mother very angry when she mentions her as if she hates her but when alone she apologizes to her. Why?
Overall Abby's life is full of mysteries and meeting this mysterious magician just added a little more . He looked awfully similar to sir Lucas. She just noticed it now when thinking about it. Haah.... She's too tired give her a break!?
