I sit on my bed with my laptop on my lap. I was checking the rest of The vamps' songs. They really are great.
I listen to them wile I do the homework I haven't done so far, and when I do that I see my mom come to my room.
"Hey, " she says. "Hi, mom. Is there something wrong?" I ask her. "No, I just wanted to give you something."
"Give me something?" I ask confused. "Yes. It's the bracelet my mom gave me when I was your age. " She says and I know she can't do anything else than frown at the mention of my grandma.
She died a few months ago, but we are still sad every time someone just says her name. Since I didn't have many friends I thought about her as one. She was so warm and good hearted.
My mom gives me the bracelet and I study it. Nermen, it says. That's my last name. I try to put it on my wrist but I fail. "Here, let me help you."
She helps me put it on, and we both notice at the same time that it hangs a little loose. " Just wear it like that for now, and I will find someone that will fix it. Be careful with it," she says when she gives me a warm hug and leaves the room.
I stare at it for a wile, then I get a message. It's from Lizzy. "Hey" it says. I answer the same back. "Whatcha doin girl?" She asks. I smile at the use of words and respond. We text for a little wile and then I decide to go to sleep.
