Nandini was sitting in her living area watching a movie at night with a bowl of popcorn in her hands.... she was so into the movie looking at the climax of the movie when the bell rang loudly making her jump at her place and even nugget who was in a sleepy mode got alert and barker loudly... nandini calmed herself down and said to nugget...

Nandini: its okay nugget!

And she walked to the door... peeking from the hole of the door nandini smiled brightly and opened the door... and the next thing she did was to hug the person...

Nandini: Where were you the whole day? No calls no msg!

Nandini pouted making him peck her pout taking her off guard... she looked at him with her wide eyes and all he did was to smile...

Manik: baby girl was missing me?

Nandini's face got flushed with red color after sinking in the peck... manik just kissed her forehead before entering inside and nandini closed the door before looking down at the floor to see mud.... she looked at manik's shoes and asked with a frown...

Nandini: Where are you coming from?

The change in her tone and the question from her lips made manik look at her in a blink and he then followed her gaze which were on his shoes... he pulled off the shoes putting them on a side just spoke...

Manik: No where, there was mud near the car parking!

Nandini nodded and with a smile walked inside and manik kept looking at her figure... he took a breathe and then went to the living room.... both or them sat there looking at the movie until it came to an end.... as the movie ended nandini looked at manik with her sleepy eyes and manik smiling at her said...

Manik: come!

Nandini went in his arms and manik laid down on the recliner with nandini laying on him.... she placed her head on his chest wrapping her arms around him... while manik took her in his embrace with his one hand on her back and the other one in her hair creasing it.... manik kept creasing her hair and soon listened her sleepy voice.....

Nandini: Good Night Manik!

Manik just placed a kiss on her head creasing her head.... unknowingly his eyes went on nugget who was sleeping on his back... manik smiled and hugged nandini closer remember about nandini's question which eventually made him remember the place from where he came to her.....

Flashback

Manik was in his office thinking about the things happened in the past two days.... when all if a sudden manik's mobile rang and it was aryaman...

Manik: What?
Aryaman: We got him!
Manik: Dungeon!

Manik saying so was about to cut the call when aryaman's voice reached him so he listened to him....

Aryaman: as always he don't know about Aarav but Manik Malhotra, should we bring him to the office?
Manik: I said dungeon, that means dungeon!

And the call ended with manik standing up ans buttoning his coat he walked out of the office and sitting in the car he drove off to the Dungeon he had created for giving miserable death/punishment to people....

Stopping the car outside the Dungeon he pushed his hand under his seat and pulled out his gun with gloves and a mask.... wearing the mask and the gloves he loaded his revolver and came out of the car....

Walking inside the Dungeon he looked at his men who were all alert due to his presence... coming to a room manik looked at Aryaman and Cabir who were standing outside with a mask on their face.... Cabir just opened the door for him and the three went inside to see the detective was tied against the chair with his lip bleeding...

Aryaman: His resistance made this happen to him!

Manik smirked under the mask and sat on the chair in front the detective...

Manik: Lets talk straight! For whom you were following her?

The detective looked at the three men in front him and nodded in no... manik huffed and leaned on the back of the chair asking this two persons...

Manik: You didn't tell him about with whom he is dealing with?

Aryaman and Cabir looked at each other making manik roll his eyes.... he looked at back at the detective and asked him...

Manik: You are a detective, you might know the name Aarav Malhotra!

And the name made the detective's eyes go wide and he spoke with his shaky voice...

Detective: The Mafia King!

Manik smirked and removed his mask giving another shock to the detective... as he saw one of the famous business admitting himself as the king of mafia... soon manik's smirked washed away and the rage came to his face asking the detective...

Manik: For whom you were going behind my nandini?

The shout made the three shudder for a second and the detective spoke...

Detective: I won't tell.... you... I know.... you will kill.... me, just do it.... but I won't bet....

And he stopped all of a sudden with a loud voice of the revolver rang in the room... manik stood there with rage in his eyes as he pulled the trigger hitting straight in between his eyes...

Manik: Find out about his boss!

Manik said to cabir and aryaman before he walked out and standing beside the car he closed his eyes to remember nandini and a small smile came on his lips before he washed his hands with the water from the tap nearby and then sitting in the car drove off to nandini's place.....
