Nandini served another customer in the cafe with a smile on her lips... after that she walked to the back side as her mobile rang out loud... she picked up the call and greeted cheerfully...

Nandini: Hey Dad! How are you?

Surya smiled on the other end and greeted her back lovingly...

Surya: I am fine, okay I called you for something important!
Nandini: about what?

she frowned thou she had a idea but still she asked with a frown...

Surya: tomorrow is manik's birthday so I am thinking to have a party!

Nandini smiled at her thought was right...

Nandini: so what happened?
Surya: beta, I am an old lag now so I can't do all this! You are goong to come and take the charge!

Nandini chuckled and then said...

Nandini: okay my grumpy dad, I will come there after my shift! Okay?
Surya: I will ask the cook to make your favourite food!

Nandini giggled and saying an okay ended the call before running back inside the cafe and continued her work....

Saying a bye to her friend at the cafe nandini came out and started to walk towards her place... opening the door she entered inside and turned on the lights... Nugget who was in his bed immediately came out listening to the door and then as the lights turned on he saw nandini and barked at her... nandini smiled and picked her up saying...

Nandini: hey baby! Missed me?

Nugget barked nuzzling in her neck and nandini started to walk out again saying to nugget...

Nandini: lets go, we are going to meet dad and manik!

Listening to manik's name nugget barjed happily and soon the duo sat in the taxi and the driver took nandini to malhotra mansion...

Nandini: thank you bhaiya!

Nandini thanked the driver passing him the fares... and then she came out and looked at the watchman who opened the door for her... nandini passed him a smile holding nugget who smiled back at her and then nandini walked inside...

reaching the living room nandini placed nugget down and he started to walk with nandini...

Nandini: dad!

Nandini called surya who was sipping his tea looking at the news....but as he listened nandini's voice he smiled and hugged nandini from side as she came and sat beside him...

Surya: how are you?
Nandini: Im good!

Nandini smiled when nugget barked at them... surya looked down and picked up nugget saying...

Surya: So Mr. nugget also came to meet me?

Nugget just had his tongue out wiggling his tale.... nandini giggled while surya smiled playing with nugget until nandini asked...

Nandini: dad! Manik?

Surya looked at her holding nugget and told her...

Surya: He just came back! Will be in his room!

Nandini nodded and stood up to go upstairs... while surya kept looking at her back.... he was feeling scared for them... scared that nandini might leave him.... scared that manik will become more hollow if that happens.... nugget barked taking Surya's attention and surya smilingly creased his back praying to his God....
