Just like that, they all spent the next 2 hours interacting and having fun with each other.

Even though Jimin had yet to speak a word to them, the Kims were very accepting of him and no one tried to push past his comfort zone. For which he was truly grateful. He surprised even himself with how fast he seemed to have adjusted to the family, becoming fast friends with Taehyung and Hosoek.

However, it still wasn't enough for him to let down his guard completely. With the life he has led uptill now he had learned to be cautious in life. No matter how much he tried to go against it, by now it was a permanent force-of-habit and he couldn't do much about it.

Another fear that plagued his mind was how fast he had adjusted to these people and he was now reluctant to part with this strange new feeling of comfort. He was afraid of becoming attached to only for his heart to be broken once again.

But he still let himself drown in the moment and allowed himself to be swept away by the Kims, his heart greedy for the love and comfort they seemed wholeheartedly offer. For the time being he was happy and smiling, something he hadn't been in a long while.

A soft knock was heard, getting everyone's attention as Dahyun and Nayeon returned. Assessing the atmosphere of the room and observing how close Taehyung and Hosoek were to Jimin, they internally sighed in relief. Looking at the poor boy who has been in their care for so long, they were overjoyed to see him smiling so vibrantly.

They gave soft smiles and informed the group that visiting times were over and that Jimin had to go back. This immediately produced pouts on all of the childrens' faces. Even Namjoon was sporting a pout as Jin acknowledged the words and prompted everyone to say their goodbyes.

One by one all of the kids said goodbye to Jimin, with Taehyung going the extra mile and giving the unsuspecting boy a hug.

"Goodbye Jiminie hyung! Hope to see you soon!!!"

Jimin was startled and didn't quite know what to do with the sudden show of affection. And he was sure it showed on his face when Namjoon chuckled and pulled Taehyung off of him. Both Jin and Namjoon then gave him a little kiss on his forehead and said their goodbyes as well. By now Jimin was really flustered and was blushing a pretty pink down to his neck. He hurriedly nodded, grabbed Nayeon's hand and was out the door before anyone could stop him.

Jin fondly watched the boy leave and was quite satisfied with the reaction he got. He had initially hesitated, but when he saw his second youngest being so forward he decided to give it a go anyway. And he was happy he did. Jimin looked so damn qdorable with a blush across his his chubby little cheeks.

They all settled back onto the couch with Dahyun sitting in front of them. Jin looked beside him to see his eldest son softly smiling to himself, his second eldest teasing the youngest about his words earlier and his second youngest looking prouder than a peacock. Namjoon was now sitting on the opposite end of the couch and was also looking quite pleased with himself.

Jin gave a small chuckle and turned his attention to Dahyun as she commented,

"It seems you guys got along well."

"Yup we did. We became friends as well!!"
Taehyung responded while the rest simply nodded.

"Well that's awesome, now isn't it? So what do you guys think? Would you like to adopt Jimin?"

"Yes, we would like to adopt him."

Namjoon said firmly as Jin nodded along his words, agreeing with him.

"That's wonderfull!!!"
Dahyun smiled brightly and continued,

"I will need you guys to fill out the paper work, right now if it's possible. They should be processed quickly and of all goes well, you guys can take him home the day after tomorrow."
