Terms:-

Mates:- like soulmates,usually two wolves who are fated to be together for life.

Alpha:-  The leader of the pack, usually male who protects,feeds and commands over his pack members.

Luna:-  Luna refers to the female counterpart of the Alpha and is the Alpha's mate. She is like the mother of the pack.

Pack:-  A group of wolves under the care of a particular Alpha.

Marking:- Marking is the process of being bitten on the crook of your neck by your mate which mixes your scent together and warns off unmated werewolves.

Mating:- Indulging in the act of coitus (sex*) .

And at the age of 16 they (werewolves) turn into wolf and also start to find their mate.
Without mate werewolf are incomplete.

In the kingdom of Werewolf, Platinum Wolf Pack was known to be Royal pack. It's heir and soon to be alpha Karan was one of the most powerful werewolf across the kingdom. His aura was enough to frighten the people. As much kind he was for his people, he was worst for his enemies.

According to werewolf ritual, a king's son only becomes Alpha when he finds his mate. And here Karan had already completed his Alpha training but was yet to find his mate, his other half.

Since past 3 years he went in search for his mate to other packs and kingdom but was unsuccessful. This year he has decided to hold a ball, sending invitation to every pack to send there unmated she-wolf's to the ball.

If this year he does not find his mate then he has to settle with a chosen mate which wouldn't be his mate chosen by moon goddess.

"Prince Karan, guest have started arriving. Your presence is required downstairs." Butler announced.

"Do you think we will find our mate?" Ryder, his wolf asked.

"Maybe we will" he replied before walking downstairs.

As he stepped down, everyone around the room turned silent. He looked around in search for her, his wolf tried to smell her scent.

"I cannot smell her, there are too many scents lingering around" Ryder huffed pacing around in mind.

Karan walked towards the stage, where his parents, current Alpha King and Luna Queen were already seated.
He greeted his mother with kiss on her cheeks,"I pray to moon goddess that you find your mate tonight ." She whispered.
He greeted his father before taking his seat.

"Thank you all for joining us today, we hope today our son and your future king shall find his soulmate. Enjoy the ball" King announced.

Unmated she-wolves were trying there best to gain attention of to be alpha king but Karan was only interested in finding his mate.  He has been patiently waiting for her since past few years and this year it's his last hope to find her.

Chatting and sharing pleasantries with other pack alphas , he moved towards the bar only to stop in mid engulfing sweet scent of lavander and honey.
His wolf started howling inside, his eyes wandered around in search of her. His body moved in the direction where the scent had slowly started fading . He ended up in empty hallway and found balcony door wide opened.
