Chapter 2- New partner, great loss.

WEEE! CHAPTER 2! HOPE YOU ENJOY <3333 this will basically be like the original Rainbow Quest but changed up a little and written in my own words lol.

Sabres POV:

"UggHHG! How much longer do we have to walk? Where are we even going?" I whined at Red who was much ahead of me. "We'll be there soon, stop complaining! We haven't even left that lon- wait.. Look! There it is!" Red said while pointing ahead of us. I stared at the building in awe. It had 2 large quart, vine covered pillars with a huge iron gate blocking the enterance. "Woah.. Red, what is this? It looks ancient." I asked with curiosity. "Its a monument, and it looks ancient because it IS ancient!"

We slowly walked over to the building and investigated the area around it. "The door seems locked. Maybe look around for a lever, a button or something like that?" I suggested, there's no way this huge door would be here without a way to actually open it. I looked down at the floor, to see if there was a hidden button or something, until I spotted something like a pedestal to stand on. I looked around for my red friend and called out "Red, I think I found it!" With those words, Red suddenly appeared from behind one of the pillars.

"Maybe I have to stand on this while you go and find something?" I asked, it was a dumb idea, but I couldn't think of anything else. "Or you stand there and say something like a code or secret message." Red then said, crossing his arms while doing so. I didn't think of that. "Well what do I say? Uhm.. Open says-a-me!" I called out loud enough for it to slightly echo. All of the sudden the ground started to shake slightly, causing me to almost fall over. After I regained my balance, I looked up to see what happened and noticed a warmly lit room in the same place the door used to be. "Red.. It opened!"

Me and Red walked into the dim room. It was decorated with pedestals, each with the colour of the rainbow;
Orange,
Yellow,
Green,
Blue,
Indigo and Violet.
"Red, these pedestals are coloured by the Rainbow, but I can't find the red one?" I called while looking up at my friend, who was standing on the tallest of pedestals. I stepped closer to where Red was and looked down to see what colour it was. Red.

"Why is the red one so tall compared to the others?" I asked. There was a large picture infront of us, it was different colours of the Rainbow surrounded by what looked like a dark shield. In the centre was a mixture of all the colours together. Red looked at the picture, eyeing it down, before finally answering.

"The multicoloured steves all have one specific thing about that one colour. For example, Red is wisdom, Orange is creativity, Yellow is energy, Green is health, Blue is spirit, Indigo is connection - and finally - Violet is love. And out of all 7, red steves are the wisest of them all, they managed to bring all the coloured steves together at last. In the picture, surrounding the steves, are dark figures, also known as The Darkness. The darkness are infectious beings that with a single touch can infect any Steve, although they have been sealed away a VERY long time ago"
Red finally finished speaking, and I just stared at him, speechless.

3rd Person POV:

"Now do you finally understand? If you say no I think I'm going to loose it." Red asked with a slight annoyed tone since he had to re-explain everything over 3 times, "Yeah I think so. anyways, I think we should get out of her-" Sabre laughed before getting cut off by dark shadows that were starting to surround him and Red. "What are these things?! Wait a second.. They look like that dark shadow that I saw before I ended up in this world!" Sabre yelled, scanning his eyes around the room for a way to escape. "Its the darkness! What are they doing here?!" Red said as he realised what the figures were.
