~One Week Later~

"Miko, please let me talk to you. You've been shut in there for days, just let me in." Amir was, yet again, banging at his sister's door in an attempt to get her to talk to him. He had no idea what happened but last time he saw her before she disappeared into her room was in the market, running back towards the castle in floods of tears. It was a strange experience for both of them as neither had spent more than a day apart before, but a whole week was nothing but pain for both of them. He gave up on banging the door and simply sat on the floor next to it, he managed to hear a click which made him run in the second after he registered said sound.

The sight on the other side of the door was worse than he imagined, the whole room was in mess. Pieces of paper were strewn across the floor with mirrors smashed and shards of glass littering the floor. And, curled into a ball in the corner of the room was Yumiko. The prince shut the door and rushed over to see his twin. "Miko, what happened?" He was crouched next to her and there wasn't any sign that she'd registered his words for a few minutes. But eventually the princess uncurled from her position and gave a tight hug to her brother, "She found out, we're done." What? Luna found out about the arrangements and broke up with her?

"You shouldn't mourn her like this, if she threw you away like this then she'd expect you to be over it. Just prove to everyone you're more than over it, and then it won't hurt as much." Amir knew how much it hurt to have someone who meant so much to you throw you away like a speck of dust, and that's what he did after his day of pain. But it wouldn't be that easy, compare a day of pain to a week. But she was better at masking than he was, she acted like there wasn't a problem in the world every day when they had a strict schedule of things they despised. The two stayed in their bundle of hug for around an hour or so before Yumiko asked if her brother could leave, he did as she asked knowing she might need space and time alone but to his pain. Outside the night chambers was Zoë, "Amir, there you are. Your parents were asking if you knew about your sister's well-being, they wish to see you in the drawing room." He had no idea why his fiancé had been sent to tell him instead of a servant but he made his way to meet his parents.

After persuading his parents that he didn't know what was wrong with Yumiko he left to check on her, and to his upmost surprise. Her room looked like there never had been mess everywhere, as if there hadn't been a hurricane pass through it ever. And his sister was sat on the window seat, staring out at the lakeside view. She wasn't aware he had entered so got quite the scare when he sat down beside her. "You scared me Amir, next time don't just sit next to me. It's terrifying." The attitude didn't last long and both were in peels of laughter within seconds.

"I'm thinking I'll let the parents choose who I'm with, seeing as they'd never let me choose a girl they might as well fully arrange it." Both of them knew it wasn't a topic to be discussed at the moment but yet she was the one to mention it.

For the next few days Yumiko acted like nothing mattered about anything, like usual however if you followed her to her room in the evening you'd hear her letting everything out in private. She became a lot more clingy to Spencer as time went past from her abandonment, but so did Princess Zoë.

"Princess, I mean not to be rude but is it really necessary for you to follow your brother around all day? Can't we have some time without you for once?" Zoë was whining about Yumiko's presence yet again and the Guri twins were both tired of it. It build the prince's fury to just watch his sister leave on the brink of tears while his fiancée smirked at her back. "Why don't you give us some time alone Zoë, you're getting on my nerves. Come back to me with an apology." And left the speechless girl in the middle of a hallway, while on the search for his sister.

He had checked everywhere in the castle and asked the guards if they had seen her leave, which they hadn't.

"I'm sorry, I let you down. I always let everyone down eventually." A single tear slid down Yumiko's pale face, all she wanted was for someone to find her and tell her it was all going to be okay, she wanted that from Luna. But she left her, and this was the place they always met. Only the two of them knew about the hidden garden in what looked like a bush. One entrance, the two of them hid it, cared for the garden inside, and made it their own place. The princess didn't know fully why she'd come to this place, maybe it was to escape the palace, her brother's stupid fiancée wasn't helping, or perhaps it was because she missed Luna. Nobody would know, only herself, Luna, Amir and Damien knew about the relationship; which meant she couldn't mourn the loss, that would make people suspicious, instead she would do what she always did.

Hiding is always best done with something over the top, because people need a clue to be able to pull it off you.
