Amir turned to fully face the officer, Yumiko knew what was about to unfold if the officer obeyed his commissioner's orders and had Damien killed. "Kill him." The officer nodded his head and left as everyone glared at the Queen. "My son is not marrying a criminal, and most definitely not a male." She stood and left the room, leaving the King, Amir and Yumiko. "Her decision is never final." Their father strode forward and barked orders to transport the three of them to the town police office and jailers house.

When they arrived and were escorted through dark, cramped corridors. The station was a maze and only the officers knew how to navigate it, after many turns and corridors they arrived the interrogation room where Damien was supposedly being temporarily held. "Both of you, stay out here. Yumiko, you have a fine pair of lungs so use them if anyone tries anything stupid, and Amir. Please restrain from harming anyone." He entered the room, the two stayed outside the door, both had been brought up to fear their peers and never disobey. Yumiko never had listened but had faced all but the worst punishments. There was shouting, and lots of it. Soon, royal guards came looking for the twins but they knew it wasn't on their father's orders. Her father hadn't lied when he said she had good lung capacity and a rather loud scream. When the guards grabbed her and her brother and attempted to drag them out she inhaled deeply for not even a second before releasing the loudest, longest and most ear-splitting scream Amir had ever heard from her.

The guards released their grip immediately and attempted to run but were blocked by their father. "You do not take my children away from me when we are away from the castle. And as for the Queen, tell her she better improve her attitude or I will strip her crown and title from her." The guards were trembling, same with the small, bloodied figure behind the King which was unmistakably, "Damien," it was a release of tension and worry as the word escaped the prince's mouth. He ran over to embrace his love, the guards left and Yumiko stood beside her father. "You'll be happy to know he will be staying with us, however his safety is in your hands. If I'm stripping your mother of Queen then I'll need you put in practice for my replacement, you start with the care of your partner."

The three left the maze of a station for the castle where they would see about the Queen and what her choice would be. Title or son, which would she put first?

However, she was nowhere to be seen when they entered the castle, Amir and Yumiko showed Damien around their home. Mealtimes were awkward whenever the Queen decided she would make an appearance, she highly disapproved of Damien living with them which was predictable, Amir would check his and Damien's food before either of them ate as he didn't know exactly how far his mother would go. Everyone was stressed as another Kingdom was threatening war on them after they stopped accepting trades, "Today has been a long day for all of us, I suggest you three especially get a long night's sleep. We have more to discuss in the morning. Your mother was talking about a plan she had and wishes to voice it in the library at ten o'clock sharp tomorrow morning. I expect you all to be there, you may retire to your rooms."

The King had given strict instructions that any orders unassociated to household needs should be checked through him before any action was taken, it was followed by all servants and she could only get them to bring her things, help her with a variety of small tasks and check in on current events. She had no power, nobody outside the castle knew that, she had the title of Queen and her marriage to her husband with no power over anything. The townsfolk would still listen and obey but she hates interaction with 'those low-life peasants'. They disgusted her, Damien was like one of those buzzy flies to her; always there, really annoying for her and doesn't leave. The three went to Amir and Damien's room and talked on the balcony, it connected between the prince and princess's rooms and curved around one side of the castle. There, they had a perfect view of the garden they adored and the town of which they would frequently visit. Nobody had said anything about Luna or what might she think, she'd probably have heard Damien was caught but what was she doing now?

"Miko, about the library," Amir wanted to know more about the person and what happened when the two were alone, she'd never answered but he had asked her almost every day until he gave up on it. "Its nothing, but I'll just say I know precisely what Mother's plan is however I have decided that I shall play along this time. Unless I find it necessary not to." The three talked for hours, Amir's arms wrapped around his boyfriend's waist while Damien and Yumiko sat on the balcony rail with their legs swinging freely as if there wasn't any risk of them falling to death. When there was no light left in the town the princess bade her brother and his boyfriend goodnight and left to rest herself.

"Princess, I need a few words about the plan."
