<<Bucky>>
"Sam, she won't even be in the same room as me. I don't know what I did.""Well, something happened. She didn't just run away from you for nothing. Something happened that meant something to her. What happened that you haven't done before?"
"I don't know. I've never really talked to her before. She was kinda having a moment, and I wanted to be there for her. I don't know what else there was to do."
"Pepper, Wanda, and Nat are on their way back right now. They should be there soon, so just try not to screw anything else up, alright?"
"Sam, I don't know what I did. I didn't mean to upset her. I was just trying to help. I don't want her to be more scared than she already is."
"Dude, I was kidding. There's a lot we don't know. There is no way to know everything that holds significance to her. It's just impossible."
"I just want her to feel better."
"Me too Buck."
<<Delilah>>
I never thought I would hear someone call me that again. I never knew that someone would care about me like that after they died.I don't want to make anyone mad. I can't go back out with Mr. Barnes. He's going to hate me. He doesn't know. I just don't know what to do.
Someone knocks on the door.
"Delilah? Are you in there?" They ask. "It's Pepper, Nat, and Wanda. Is it okay if we come in?"
I have to let them in. I can't keep my door locked. If they try the door and can't get in they're going to take it. I don't want them to take my door. I like having an enclosed space.
I unlock and open the door, getting as far away from it after as possible.
"I'm sorry. Please. I didn't mean to. I'll be good. I'll follow the rules. I'll-"
"Delilah, you're safe. No one is going to hurt you," Mrs. Potts says. "No one is upset with you. We just want to make sure you're okay."
I can't let them trick me. I can't fall for it. I have to remember what he told me. Things are going to get worse if I don't. I need to get started on cleaning and making sure everything is perfect.
"Delilah?" Ms. Maximoff asks. "Is it okay if we come into your room? You're allowed to say no."
They're going to take me away again. I can't let them take me away. I don't want to go back there. Or any place similar. I just want to be somewhere safe. I don't want to keep running and hiding from all of this anymore.
"Delilah? You are safe here. You need to let us know how we can help you. I understand that you are scared right now, and I promise that the only thing we want to do is help. You don't have to talk, but we need some sort of communication. I'm going to open the door, but we won't come in."
The door opens, and I see them standing there.
I just want to make everyone's lives easier and just leave. I want to be able to do something right instead of screwing everything up.
"Delilah, you don't have to talk, but could you answer some yes or no questions for us?" Mrs. Romanoff asks. "Are you physically hurt?"
I shake my head.
"Good job. Thank you. Is it okay that all three of us are here?"
I slowly nod. I don't want to make anyone mad.
"Okay. I promise you aren't in any trouble. No one is upset with you at all. We just want to help you, okay?"
"I upset Mr. Barnes," I whisper.
