The darkness, I felt it right when the bullet hit me it all happened so fast. I was walking down the street when a drive by happened and I along with someone else (who I couldn't see) was hit with stray bullets.
But why? I could hear people yelling the gun shots as the car sped off. And if I remember correctly I was one of the only people shot. I a regular by stander was shot. God I hate this city so much.
I wonder why I am not dead yet, I had been shot at least 3 times. It's hard to tell because of the pain.
Syrens could be heard the street the shooting happened at was in complete chaos.
I felt my life slowly drain from my being. I could tell I wouldn't make it another minute. Finally after what felt like for ever the sounds faded out, I couldn't fell the pain from the bullet wounds. My body went limp and the only thing I could do was think. I couldn't even feel the ground underneath me.
But why could I think? Is this was death is like? Not being able to see not being able to feel, only being able to think?
