"So any ideas as to what that white orb is?" Vex asked still carrying kami.
"No, but kumi might know himself so we'll just ask him when he wakes up." Nyx says
After a while of walking they finally make it back to the village and are greeted by the guards at the front gate.
"Oooh, did the newbie pass out on his first job?" One of the guards asked in a mocking tone.
"He did better than you did on yours Joshua" Nyx said annoyed
"More useful too" Ved added.
"Whatever" Joshua said sadly "Open the gate max!" He yelled at the person standing inside the second tower to the right of the gate.
After a couple of seconds the gate opened and the trio entered the village.

As I started to wake up I could see the giant wolf eating the 4 horned goat whole.
"Why did you just eat the goat" I asked curiously
"Why does it matter it's not like you lose power from me eating the other souls, it's just one less voice in your head, so if I were you I wouldn't be complaining" The wolf said calmly.
"You're right I guess" I paused " do you know what abilities that goat had?" I asked.
" 'That goat's' name is alkoe and HE was kinda like what you would call a forest God, he had the ability to control all kinds of plants and make them grow in places they shouldn't be able to. He also had heightened senses along with the ability to tell when someone is lying." The wolf said with a bored expression on his face.
"Out of all the animals in that area you had to kill one of the seemingly strongest, but actually one of the weakest?" The wolf finished
"Wait, what do you mean that wasn't the strongest beast in that forest?" I ask confused
"No idiot, even I was stronger than him, the only reason he had four horns was because of his age and mastery over his weak ass abilities." The wolf said with a jealous tone.
"So what's the name of the strongest beast there?" I asked sheepishly
The wolf sighed.
"Apocys, he was the one that gave me this scar on my eye." The wolf said disappointingly
"What does he look lik-" before I could finish I woke up

"Oh hey, sleeping beauty is finally awake" Nyx said jokely
I smiled in response
The trio was back in the house when kumi woke up, Nyx and kumi where sitting at the dining room table while Vex was cooking something in the kitchen
"What's he cooking?" I asked referring to Vex
"Steaks with mashed potatoes" Nyx replied
After a couple of minutes Vex was done cooking.
"You know we should join the adventures guild and start making real money" Vex said placeing three plates down each with food on them.
"Yeah you're right" Nyx agreed looking over to kumi
"I'm down" I replied in agreement
"So kumi... What is that orb that came out of that four horned goat?" Vex asked taking a bit out of his steak.
"Oh... It was the soul of the goat" I said calmly
Nyx then proceeded to choke on her steak abit
"Are you okay?" I asked conserdenly
"Yeah Im fine just a little surprised that all" Nyx said wiping here face with a napkin.
"So after you kill beast you get their souls?" Vex asked
"Yeah basically" I confirmed.
"So what do you get when you take their souls, besides well their souls of course." Nyx asked
"Well, I get their abilities and memories" I said
"Mhm" they both replied in unison
After that conversation Nyx and Vex finished their food and got ready to head to bed.
"Oh, and kumi before I forget you and I share a room with you, this house only has two bedrooms and I don't know about you but I'm not trying to deal with my little brother's night nightmares" Nyx said sheepishly
"Okay.." I said not really paying attention as I was still finishing eating dinner.
"There not that bad" Vex said
"Yeah well when you can think things into reality a nightmare is one of that worst things you could have." Nyx said
"Mhm, night" Vex said walking to one of the bedrooms
And with that the trio heads to bed.
