Chapter:6. A few of rain

The crowd at the broken fences have received the smoke from blast and
channels have successfully covered the news.

The news was earthquake to
countless castles of hopes but Jeff's castle was still standing. Little shear and
tear won't budge his believe in meeting Math again. He never would believe in
anything which could mean that Math would not return to him, he has not
believed that even when Math himself had said that.

Lily's mother was taken to near hospital for she has fainted there and Jeff had
held little Lily for her. Assemblyman Mullin and his crew have arranges cranes of tons and ropes ready but who knows why this delay was must.

The crowd started working again into morning, properly, from criticizing
government to throwing some stone down, people were into action. But then....
Not everybody was gathered there out of concern some must have their fun. (You know them, they exist everywhere.)

Some suggested the blast as their signal to them- they have burnt bus deliberately so we can locate them and others considering it as unfortunate accident that have now taken them all to God, to the skies and may above into another world.
(We can't expect much more from the crowd, all then can do is talk and they were talking.)

There was no way they can go down on wheels but by harness around waist,
going down was made possible. Cranes were waste, ton of waste. Soon twenty
rangers with harnesses started moving down with extra safety ropes on. Ariana
without sleep have checked upon her other options; she had phoned once again to all possible friends and family to whom Maria can go. She even had been at bus agency for her inquiries on her own. She was tired as if she walked out any Hell.

Seven hours and they couldn't reach to half earthward but they have found a
lady, dead, might have fall in way and struck into wavy rocks. Her skull was
bloody mess. Four of them took the body up and were replaced by other four
who joined down.

Anon, clouds have decided some rain. Soaking the city and dissolving Harris;
colourless drippling tried evoking some colours.

Jeff wanted, if any hearts have survived there, he wanted them to know that-
they are trying for them. So they must try back.

That dark cloud didn't aid on ropes but with bringing hopes it never had failed.
Never before and so why would this time?

The green had become greener and years of old trees had their few of one bathe. The crowd had dispersed. The movement was at halt for safety is must and so twenty of them had stayed under rock shading them from pouring. With the view of blurred city and sky spitting on their shoulders, rangers were proud of every other. (I too,.... am proud.)

Down there, Samuel had carried Stephen to all remaining under their shelter. Stephen wasn't in state to explain his side of good and been blamed by some for the untoward. Lisa once again made her impression on Samuel when she stands for injured Stephen and made them realise of sense of empathy. Pitter-patter was oppressing sobbing sound of Lily and may of many more.

Lily was not stopping and crying and Mathew couldn't hold more; he was
missing Jeff. He just wanted to tell him to wait; to wait for him. Single night
have made him change, he now was ready to fight this world for Jeff. He
remembered their last conversation-

"Math, I will wait for you".

"You should not, I may never come".
Math didn't mean that. "Please don't
believe this Jeff. Please."

"Still, I will" That's the last thing Jeff had told him.

Mathew looked above, up the hills as if he knew Jeff was waiting for him there.
He smiled while tearing and wanted to hug him close and confess his strengths;
newer ones. He has realise the cost he decided to pay is unaffordable, he can never lose Jeff for anything, he can't trade his love for sake of his parents, society, anything. He cried, sobbingly.

Elvis has tried playing with Lily and couldn't succeed but she had fallen into a dream where she was at home and safe, into his arms.
Elvis was being watched during whole of time and he might have idea about. He caught those eyes secretly looking at him but he couldn't get the intent.

Lisa injured her ankle while helping Samuel with carrying Stephen. She had
little dive through muddy slope which rewarded her with serious three inches
long cut around her left ankle and took out her blood from. And Stephen was already serious and yet not conscious. Samuel was all busy with him to aid Lisa with her injury. She herself had to take out conoid broken twig out of her leg. The wound was wide and pain was severe.

Samuel was guilty for promising something out of his capabilities; he could not save everybody and he wasn't sure if he would be able to keep rest of them safe. "He has failed"- he thought looking over Stephan's shattered body and then to burnt bus and then to sobbing Lily and teary Mathew and to Lisa's injury and greatest of all he think of Maria. He had failed everywhere.

Wilson and Lennon had leaved in search for something that could be their
container for water and collected some dry sticks for fire. They even rumbled
some berries but then also got attacked by wild bees. At least their efforts
brought night meal to some. They even look for any useful thing left for them in
burnt bus but couldn't find much. They all should not have leaved their baggage
inside of it.

The sky poured for almost eight hour before getting tired. City had its day
without its Sun.
Rangers decided to go downhill till darkness starts blinding them and they didn't get enough of time to reach earth.

Finally, has knocked another of night and all stayed where at they were.

Enough of wait. Samuel had thought.
