Your eyes shot wide open as you shrieked when the tree had been blown away by a green burst of light, crawling back away from it instantly. You whimpered as you looked over to the group that got into fighting stances expecting a fight.

You screamed as you saw the Titans, the earth beneath you all had started to shake because of your unstable abilities. Boulders and large rocks fell at the earthquake you created in your terrified panic.

A girl in a blue cloak floated above the team and chanted something before a large rock could crush them, the rock was hovering over them in black magic before being tossed away from them.

"Is that...Terra??" A voice yelled out in confusion and shock.

The Teen Titans attention immediately looked over to your quivering for to find that you were not in fact their old friend Terra.

"That's not her, BB, but that is the girl we're looking for."

They didn't expect a weak, helpless girl, covered in mud from head to toe, sobbing as you were completely vulnerable.

The teens' tense positions slightly lessened as they stared at you in surprise and confusion, unsure of what to do as they had expected a fight, not this.

"Uh, Robin?"

"It could be a trick.."

You covered your face as you cried helplessly, shaking as you terrified and freezing.

The Titans soon calmed down after sensing no immediate threat. A girl with vibrant green eyes and red hair, Starfire, floated cautiously towards you,"Friends, I do not think this person is the dangerous."

A green boy with sharp elf-like ears took a step forward to get a closer look at you and raised a brow,"are we sure this is the right person?" He looks to his team for an answer, just as confused on your terrified reaction as the others.

Starfire took pity on you instantly after seeing your distraught figure,"hello?" She reaches out to you cautiously.

You gasp in surprise at how close the girl was and screamed, your hands shooting forward out of instinct to protect yourself and unintentionally blown her away from you, the air you had no control of suddenly followed your hand movements. Your bending or powers had been called by the spike of your emotions.

The poor alien was yelled out in surprise as she was blown away by a burst of wind and hit a close tree with a pained yelp.

"Starfire!!" The others yelled for their friend out of concern for her well-being, hoping she wasn't injured.

You gasped at their reaction and immediately felt guilty for unintentionally hurting the girl, but you didn't know if they were only being nice to you to trick you into being obedient.

After your actions, they immediately deemed you as dangerous and a threat to other just like they were told.

"Stay away from her! She's dangerous and now we really have to get her back to that place!"

Your figure shook more after hearing they planned to take you back. You didn't mean to hurt anyone, you just couldn't control your emotions nor abilities.

The Titans watched you cautiously, waiting for you to strike but you didn't.

Beastboy was the first to be confused, you were definitely dangerous but a threat? It was like you didn't want to fight, you were just scared.

Even if this was a trick, you would have attacked already and the others noticed you didn't attack until you felt threatened.

"Uh..guys, I don't think she wants to attack...she's scared."

"It's true, she only pushed me away, she did not harm me." Starfire piped in as she glanced at you shaking form, feeling truly concerned for your well-being.

You sniffled as you looked up at the group, clean streaks had appeared on your face when your tears washed away the mud.
Once the Titans saw your condition, the relaxed from their fighting stances and saw just how terrified you really were. What were they doing to you in that place exactly?

Starfire took a cautious step forward, being more careful not to scare you this time,"hello, I hope I did not frighten you, we only want to help."

You furrowed your brows together in confusion, she wants to help you? Aren't they here to take you back to the lab? To take you back to that hell?

Starfire offered a friendly smile as she bent down but didn't take a step further,"I am Starfire, I hope we can be friends. What is your name...?" She asks softly, you only stared at her.

You kept silent as your eyes scan her features, watching her every move as you kept curled to yourself.

The teens watched your interaction from behind Star, keeping an eye on you and watching your reactions.

Starfire's smile faltered when you didn't reply,"uhm..can you speak?"

You didn't respond, nor nod or shake your head.

She grew a little hopeless and looked back at the group, not knowing what to do now.

Robin,the leader of the group, had his arms crossed and was about to say something until he heard men yelling in the distance. The shouts immediately caught their attention and they all looked in the direction it was coming from.

The lab was sending out another search party seeing as the Teen Titans have not brought you back yet.

You immediately let out a horrified scream, covering your ears to block out the shouts of men, they were coming for you.

They'll subject you to horrible experiments again!

They'll punish you for escaping!

Your screams of pain will not be heard!

You'll never get out of there again!

You were born in that lab, surely you'll die in that lab.

They're coming.

They're coming.

They're getting closer.

They'll bring you back.

Your scream caught the teens off guard, seeing you rock back and forth showed how truly traumatized you were by that place. It was obvious you didn't want to go back, hence why you left in the first place.

You couldn't take it, you immediately lunged at Starfire and tightly embraced her,"No! No! No! No!" You shouted in a panic.

Everyone tensed when you suddenly clung to the girl and that was the last straw.

"Take her and let's get out of here!" Robin ordered, refusing to bring you back now. He wouldn't even consider bringing you back now until he knew what was going on.

Starfire immediately scooped you up in her arms and left with her friends, sensing danger.

They immediately left in the opposite direction of the lab, heading back to their Tower with you in their hold.
