Yoongi's POV
"I'm going to need that song by the end of the week."
"Yeah, yeah, I know. Don't worry about it, I finished last night."
I speak into the phone, trying not to feel irritated at Namjoon's demanding tone of voice. I know he's not trying to come across that way, he's only stressed about staying on schedule.
"Okay, good. When do you think you can get that to me?"
He asks, his tone slightly less harsh.
"I'm driving to the store right now, I won't be able to send it over until I get back home."
"Alright, well just send it to me as soon as you can. Thanks, Yoongi."
"Yeah, no problem."
I answer, pulling into a parking spot.
" I just got to the store, I'll see you tomorrow, yeah?"
I ask, removing the keys from the ignition and stepping out of the car.
"Uh, yeah about that. The studio building is going to be undergoing repairs tomorrow, The landlord emailed all of the tenants this morning. So, we'll need to meet at your place."
"I can't, Joon. I'm moving this week, boxes are everywhere."
He sighs through the speaker.
"Oh, right. I forgot. Well, we won't be able to do it at my place, cause my roommates will be here. How about we meet at a cafe or something? Someplace with Wi-Fi."
"Yeah, alright. Send me the address before tomorrow."
"Okay, see you then."
"Bye."
I hang up, quickly making my way into the store.
Coming out of the store with a an armful of bags, I look up the sky noticing the dark clouds. Cursing under my breath, I dart to the car. Of course I'd park in the back of the lot. The rain begins pouring as I struggle to open the trunk.
"Fuck!"
I finally get the trunk to open, practically throwing the groceries inside. When I get to my car door, I shove the key into the lock and turn it as fast as I can, flinging the door open. I look down at myself upon getting into my car. I'm drenched. I groan loudly, closing my eyes, and pinching the bridge of my nose.
As I drive home, I turn on the radio, hoping to find something to lighten my mood.
"Hello darkness my old friend-"
Nope. Definitely not. I switch the channel.
"I don't wanna be you.... Anymore-"
Seriously?
"You're still a trait-"
Releasing a long sigh, I shut it off in defeat. I pull up to my apartment building hopeful that the rain will stop or lighten up before I park the car.
Instead, it seems to get worse, now the rain is even louder against the roof of my car.I dart out of the car, grabbing the groceries, and slamming the trunk door shut. As I shut the door, the corner of it whacks my side. Causing me to wince in pain.
I run into the building, slowing down once I escape the heavy downpour. Finally stepping into my apartment, I drop the bags onto the kitchen counter, and remove my soaked jacket and shoes.
"Well, fuck."
I mumble grumpily, as I look over myself. I go over to the bathroom to clean myself up, grabbing a towel from a cupboard on the way. Catching a glance at my reflection in the mirror, I stop and face it. My hair is wet, and it's beginning to dry in a frizzy manner. Turning on the shower, I take off the damp t-shirt I'm wearing, only to notice blood seeping out of a cut on my side. It was right where the car door hit me.
"Dammit."
I mutter, grabbing a washcloth and running it under the faucet. I hiss in pain as it comes in contact with the wound. After quickly cleaning it, I jump into the shower, making it quick due to my newly found cut.
"Well, I'm not sure how this day could get any more frustrating."
