Y/N's POV
I walk back to the register after giving Yoongi his drink. A tap on my shoulder causes me to turn around and face Tiffany.
"Hey, come back here."
She says, walking into the kitchen.
I follow her as Jin takes over on the register once again."Is there something you need me for..?"
"Did you make the muffins this morning?"
"What? You called me back here to ask if I made the muffins this morning?"
I question, annoyance quickly coming over me.
"Did you?"
"No, Lena did because you put her on the schedule."
I fight the urge to roll my eyes at her. Yes, I did make the muffins. But if I hadn't, Lena wouldn't have been able to make them in time for opening. Tiffany had given her so many other things to do.
"I know you did them. Jin was cleaning the dining room, Lena was still working on the cookies when we opened and the muffins weren't in their case yet. The only other person who could have helped her was you."
"Wow, if only you would put as much effort as you do in trying to get someone in trouble as you did in trying to be a good employer."
I snap, tired of her bullcrap.
"Well then, if you think I'm such a terrible employer, you can leave."
She hisses.
"Then fire me. Do it."
I taunt her, knowing she can't get very many people to stay employed by her for very long. And I'm the most experienced person at this job. She can't afford to lose me.
She huffs, stomping out of the kitchen with me following close behind her. She walks up to Lena, pulling her aside.
"I thought I told you to have all of the pastries done by opening this morning?"
She says, causing Lena to look nervous and glance over to me.
"I- I did."
She says.
"No, (y/n) helped you. Why are you not able to complete the simple tasks I give you?"
"Really? They're so easy, huh? Do them yourself. See how easy it is."
I cut in. Tiffany glares at me.
"You're fired Lena."
"You fire her, I'll quit. Then who is going to do everything? Jin? Or will you finally get your lazy ass up, and work?"
I snap.
"Fine. You're not fired. But this is your last chance girl. I'm not going have any more grace."
"You already don't, dumbass."
I mutter under my breath, walking away.
Seriously, this bitch is getting on my nerves.
"You good?"
I turn sharply towards Jin, who is standing at the counter and giving me a concerned look. Nodding, I take a deep breath and begin cleaning the counter off.
"Tiffany giving you problems?"
"Isn't she always?"
I scoff. He only smiles softly.
"Are you sure you're okay?"
"Yeah, I just need some air."
I finish cleaning the counter and start to sweep the tile.
"Oh, there she goes."
I glance up to see Tiffany walking to her car, and then pulling away.
"I can't with her- like seriously? She'll just up and leave the second something doesn't go her way. You can't run a fucking business like that!"
I hiss, aggressively dumping the trash in the dustpan into the garbage can.
Jin laughs, causing me to glare up at him."What's so funny?"
"Nothing, your aggressiveness I guess."
He says with a smirk playing on his plump lips. I roll my eyes once again, biting back a small smile.
"Whatever."
A/n
So, off topic but I need to talk about it. BTS is going on a break and being a directioner, I'm low key scared. I'm getting a sense of daja vu. And I don't like it. I mean, obviously I'm happy that BTS is getting a well deserved break, I'm just scared they'll pull a one direction on us. Lemme know if you're getting the same feeling.
