Chapter 9: Nightmare

(Williams POV)

Dark, Dark is all I see, darkness. Then screams, yells, cries. Then, a searing pine, a sering sensation. Cold, cold runs down my body. Then warm, warm and cold, and red, crimson, blood. Then a hand, a war felling, a holy felling

"William"

Cold, warm, and red

"William"

Who is there

"William"

I awake to see a strange figure standing over me

"You ok William"

His voice I don't recognize, he has red eyes, paper white hair, and pale skin, and he is wearing a red space suit.

"William? Are you ok?"

"I-im fine" I stutter out.

"You don't sound fine" They say.

"Just a nightmare, why did you wake up" I respond.

"You were screaming in your sleep" They say calmly.

"...what", I respond.

"You were screaming" They respond.

"Oh" I sigh. 

"You want to talk about it" red asked.

"Just since these murders started, I have had nightmares about me, Levi, Lilac, and everyone else dying, and now that my roommate died, I was wondering if I could be next" I was on the verge of tears.

"Hey hey hey" Red said while hugging him"you will be ok, calm down, deep breaths, calm down" Red says calmingly having done this before.

We sat there for several several hours though it felt like only a few minutes.

"Hey thanks for helping me Red" I say

"Please, my name is Chase," Chase responds

"Thanks Chase" I say with a slight smile

"Now, let's go grab you some breakfast" Chase says getting up and offering his hand to me.

"But it's like three in the morning" I respond as I reach for his hand.

"It is 6:30" he laughs out.

"What!" I look over to my alarm clock and read the time 6:34. I look back at Chase "ya, I guess so".

They stood up and started to make their way twords the cafeteria .

(Kelly's POV)

"I am telling you Levi, someone is missing"

"No one is missing, ok, everyone is here, your just exhausted, calm down".

Before I can respond the cafeteria doors open, and behind them is William looking like a zombie, almost as sleep deprived as I was. But more interestingly was Red holding him up, but not only that, he didn't have his helmet on for the first time this mission. The whole cafeteria was stunned. He walked William to the table and sat him down before walking to the food despenser. We all just watched in silence as he grabbed coffee, milk, and a breakfast sandwich for William. He came back over to where we were sitting, set them down in front of him and went back to the machine to grab his breakfast before he walked over to us and sat down.

"What happened?" I ask confused

He looks at me"He had a rough night and barely sleep." He looked back at Will to see him slowly eating has sandwich before he leans over on Red and passed out.

"I will do his tasks for him where he needs to rest. If that is ok with you captain"

I look at for a second his voice and face completely foreign."sure?" I say with hesitation.

The rest of us eat lunch in complete silence with the exception of small chatter from other tables. When we finish Red picks up Will and takes him to their room, he walks out shortly after. We continue on and start our tasks. We are down three people, and there is a lot of work to do. However, I have a feeling, a bad one, that things are not quite as over yet.

As I walk in to navigation it happens.
