I walk into the room, the rainbow room. Kind of nervous, afraid. "Well, well. Look who finally decided to join us.. someone's a sleepy head this morning." Someone says. I turn to look at him "Im sorry.. am I.. in trouble?" I ask, nervously. "Trouble?.. no. No, why do you think that? You're just missing out on all the fun," he responds smiling slightly, holding his hands in front of him, "training starts any minute now." He informs me. "Okay.." I respond, very nervous. "Hey, there's nothing to be nervous about. You're going to do great today." He says, smiling reassuringly. "I just know it." Again he reassures me. Then the door is opened, and then inside walks papa. All of the kids line up, as do I. "Good morning, children." He responds looking around.

We all respond back, greeting him. "How are we feeling today?" He asks, and most respond with "Good, papa." He smiles "good." He responds turning around "number 12, would you be so kind and open the door?" He again asks, twelve walks over to the door. "Yes, papa." He responds opening the door. "Please, follow me." He commands and walks out, as we all follow him. We walk inside the room and line up, 002 being the first one to start. He's required to make the light bulbs light up in a pattern, and he does. "Stop." Papa commands, and 002 stops, the light bulbs all shutting off in a rhythmic pattern. "Very good, two. Very good." He says handing 002 a.. a candy? "Now," he says stepping closer to us, "which brave soul would like to follow that, hmm?" He asks. Everyone raises their hand, volunteering and they all say "me." Repeating themselves. But instead of choosing one of them, of course he chooses me.

"004?" The room goes silent and they all look at me. I look up and nervousness washes over me. I'm forced to make my way over to the seat, and sit down. Peter puts the head piece on me gently. "Remember to stay focused. Find the energy. Feel it." He says smirking, then stands up and walks away, back to his original place. I start to focus on it, and I really try. Though I get nothing out of it. No lightbulbs light up, and then they are laughing at me. I feel tears threaten to spill from my eyes.

"Why does he waste so much time with him?" 002 whispers to his friend. "Hey, quiet." Peter whispers to hush him. Papa walks over to me and bends down lightly, "they're laughing. At you," He whispers "they think you're weak. Show them, 004. Show them." He says. I'm embarrassed and feel like crying. I again process all my energey into turning on a lightbulb, one turns on. "Good." Papa whispers "now make it move." I try, but the light bulb turns off, and I let out a shaky breath. "Waste of time." 002 mutters, shaking his head. I wipe my bloody nose and stand up, walking out angrily. Tears fall from my eyes as i continue walking. I slide down a wall, and start crying to myself. 'Wast of time.' His words replay Im my head. Am i really a wast of time? I sigh, resting my head against my knees, just crying silently.

I hear footsteps, then they suddenly come to a halt in front of me. I look up to see Peter. He sits down beside of me. "It's okay, don't be upset." he says and wraps his arm around me, comforting me. "They are wrong. It just takes time." He whispers in my ear, his warm breath against my neck makes me shiver, I look down. "What If they're right though, what if I am just a waste of time? Not good for anything.." I say, tears still falling. "No, you aren't a waste of time. They're not better than you, it's actually the opposite, you're better than them. You just have to focus." He said as i laid my head on his should. I smiled slightly, "thank.. you." I whisper as I fall asleep slowly. The last thing I hear from him is "you're welcome."

I had woken up in my room, so I decided to go back to the rainbow room. I'm currently dropping red circles into a box, and trying to get the number 3 but, I haven't got it quite yet. Again, I put another one in, and instead of 3, I get 4. I let out a frustrated sigh. "Which number are you aiming for?" A voice from behind me asks. I turn around. It's Peter, he's standing with his hands placed behind his back, and observing me. I look away, "Three." I reply. He walks over to me, and sits down. "You know, sometimes it's helpful to take a step away for a moment," he says, looking at me, "Let the mind clear." I look away, and sigh.
