Tommy had been feeling off for a bit. He would struggle to fall asleep and when he woke up he never wanted to get out of bed, he definitely wasn't a morning person, but he got used to getting out of bed in the morning regardless.

When Karl and Quackity walked into the shop, he gave them a small nod, and watched Karl close the curtains. It was safe to assume that Quackity informed him of the use of the curtains.

His eyes furrowed when he finally processed the unlikely duo being in the shop. It immediately went away when pain spiked through his head. Quackity and Karl both noticed but didn't ask anything after seeing that Tommy was trying to hide the fact. Karl instead chose to explain that they had talked the last time he came and they came to an understanding of sorts, Quackity would sometimes help Karl with some cases where he would need information and Quackity would help. Even with the explanation, Tommy didn't really process any of the story and looked at Quackity.

Quackity understood the look and listed their orders, the lazy apple juice and some sweet tea, no preparation needed, and he was grateful for that. Though it was still strange that Quackity ordered a different drink from the last two times he came.

He got their drinks from the fridge and when he turned back around, they were still standing there waiting for their orders instead of going to their seats like they usually did. He handed them their drinks and they sat down at a table.

The whole time, Tommy's head felt like it was going to burst, he put his head into his hands, blocking out the lights. His whole body was sore when he didn't really do anything. Unless he slept the wrong way, but it felt a bit more dramatic than that.

Dots blurred his vision. The last thing he heard before he passed out was someone calling out his name, worried.
