he said as he got a text, but not just any text....it's his first text from carrie saying that she wants to tell her something
aiden (texting): why can't you come here? do you still have ghost powers or something?
carrie (texting): yes i do, but i'm having dinner with my family. but i will tell you this, after i finish my dinner, say my name 3 times.
aiden (texting): let me guess, ''the ole ghost summoning spell''?
carrie (texting): exactly.
aiden (texting): ok, c u after dinner.
he texted as he flopped onto his bed ------------------------------------------------------------------------ (aiden POV)
After 20 minutes of waiting, i grabbed my phone and texted to carrie
aiden (texting): you done?
carrie (texting): yep.
aiden (texting): ok i'm ready.
i texted as i got up from my bed and began to speak
aiden: (deep breaths) carrie carrie carrie.
i said her name 3 times and after i did, carrie teleported in my room, which surprised me that it worked
aiden: woah, i can't believe that worked. so carrie, what is it that you wanted to tell me?
i said as carrie started to blush at hearing my question
carrie: well, ever since we first met, i...i began to...what i'm trying to say is that....i love you aiden.
she said to me as my eyes widened at hearing that she has feelings for me
aiden: what?
carrie: i love you aiden. you were there when i was suffering from depression since my boyfriend died, you were there to talk to or befriend me, you gave me hope to even feel alive again when i felt like i should go to hell, we've been through so much in our own lives, you were there in my time of depression, now i want to return the favor....i love you aiden.
she cried as she hugged the surviving human until she looked up to aiden's face and said

i was speechless that a ghost girl with a physical form, a member of earth's new dominant species is in love with me, a living relic from a long dormant past
