(aiden POV, 7 years after my mom's death)
7 years later..... the world was all peaceful, until... everything went to hell when the bombs fell and chaos erupted, but thankfully the president and united nations said that they knew the end was near, so they built bunkers and told us to apck our belongings before it spread to the states, i was grabbing everything i could, and by everything, i mean my phone, my collections, some of my clothes, all of it and made my way to the bunker with my ''sister'' as we entered said bunker
bunker guard: everybody, please proceed in an orderly fashion.
bunker guard 2: no need to worry folks, we'll get everyone situated in your new home.
the guards said as we walked off the elevator that led to our bunker and as i walked away from linda, who lowered her head in guilt, remember what i said to her before all of this happened

young aiden: I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU LINDA, NOT AFTER WHAT YOU DID TO ME!!!!
young linda dropped to her knees as she started crying uncontrollably, regretting what she had done to this family

i was walking up the stairs as the guards scanned my for weapons, but luckily i didn't carry any, then put a nametag on my shirt and as i gave my stuff to the guards when they put it up in a drawer with my name on it
the guards led me to a stasis pod and told me this...
bunker guard (female): this is your stasis pod, aiden. you will be in there for a really long time and after that, we'll be in our new world for a new life.
aiden: how exactly long will we be in there?
bunker guard (female): about a thousand years.
she said as i sighed and took a quick glare at linda as we entered in our stasis pods and they froze up, and after we get out, i will have a new life on the surface without that bitch of a sister i have
