Markus Vole in relevance to the plot is unremarkable. He isn't a wild witch, he isn't related to Luz or her friends and he isn't apart of the Emperors Coven.
Knowing all that you would think that has no purpose other than being a character you spot...

Callum Queen from the Good Witch Azura Volume 6
Callum Queen is a disgraced prince. He encountered Azura often while she was on her trails but slowly became bitter since he was constantly compared to her and disappeared.
He later returned as the leader of revolt against Azura and her friends. After a long and hard battle Azura won and offered Callum a place in her group to which he agreed.
