Travis POV
I walked into the apartment that me and my boyfriends family had been living in seeing the room pitch black and wondering if they were out or just not wanting to turn on the light.
I walked a bit deeper into the room and started to hear voices behind the kitchen counter.
"Larry, Lisa" I said feeling a hand go onto my back as I screamed in shock
"Babe?"I heard a familiar voice say turning around to see Larry with his hand on my shoulder as I turned to hug him while I cried
"Sorry babe I didn't mean to scare you" Larry said a silence filling the room
"Happy birthday" sal said walking from the kitchen counter
"Babe is it your birthday today?" I said feeling worried like I forgot that it was his birthday
"No its your birthday travis" he said getting a box out of his pocket it was a small black box with rounded corners
"How would you know when my birthday is I didn't even know?" I questioned
"We found it while snooping threw some of your parents old stuff and yes we did go to your old house" Larry said
"Who is we?" I asked
"Me, sal and Ashley Todd went out with his boyfriend so he couldn't join" Larry said passing me the small black round box
"At least you didn't go to my father" I said opening the box to release a plastic ring and a bracelet
"Awww thanks you really didn't have to get me anything tho" I said holding onto Larry and kissing his forehead
"Travis me and Ashley got something for you as well" sal said bringing Ashley into the room with a large and smaller box in her hands
"Its not much but we thought you would like these" Ashley said passing the boxes over to me.
I stood there in shock at what I was seeing a picture of me, father and mother and another of one of my mother's necklace collection but it was a broken heart with my mother's initials on and one with mine
"Travis are you ok" Ashley said as I ran towards her and hugged her while crying
"Thank you all" I said feeling sal and Larry hug me
"I'm just going to go out these in my room" I said running to my room and seeing the sun setting as I put the picture down on my bedside table and putting the ring and bracelet on.
A/N: helloooo everyone sorry this chapter is shorter but I'm going to do more parts of this chapter so it will be continuing on for a bit
