Their First Guild

"Here's to us, the Moonlit Black Cats!" a group of player said as they made a toast as Eren and Kirito watch with cups in their hands. "And here's to Kirito and Eren, the men who saved our lives" one of the players said. "Cheers" they said. "Cheers?" both Eren and Kirito said. "Thank you for saving us" they told them again. "It was nothing" Kirito said. "I was scared, so when you guys came to save me, it made me so happy" the girl said. "Yeah" Kirito said. 

"Hey Eren, Kirito. I know this is really rude to ask, but what level are you guys?" a man asked them. "Around level 20" Eren answered for them. "Wow, you guys are not that much higher than us" the man said, but Eren had lied to him. The truth was that both he and Kirito were level 40, but didn't want to bring too much attention to them. 

"Keita, you don't need to be so polite. We might be a duo, but that means we're targeting isolated enemies" Kirito told him. "Oh, in that case, sorry to spring this on the both of you all of a sudden but how about joining our guild" Keita said. Both Eren and Kirito were surprised about the sudden invitation.

"The only player who can handle the vanguard is our mace user, Tetsuo" Keita said. "And this is one is Sachi. I'm thinking that she switch to be a sword and shield wielder so she can cover the front line, but she says that she isn't really sure how. Think you guys could coach her?" Keita said as he patted the girl on the head. "Come on, don't make me sound so useless" Sachi told him. "I'd be too scared if you suddenly tell me to fight in the vanguard."

"Just hide behind your shield. I swear, you've always been such a scaredy cat" Keita said. The friends chuckle as Keita explained "In real life, all our guild members belong to our school's PC Research Club. But don't worry, I'm sure you two would fit right in for sure."

Eren stare at them as he said "We'll join you guys."

They were happy that they accepted as Eren looked at Kirito. "What do you think?" he asked him. "I'm ok with it" Kirito said. 

The next day the guild was fighting a mantis like monster as they were having a little trouble. Luckily for them, Eren and Kirito slash off its arms as Kirito shouted "Tetsuo, switch!"

Tetsuo ran towards the mantist before swinging his mace, destroying its head. The monster vanished as a congratulation screen appeared. To celebrate, they had a little picnic as Eren was far away from them. "What's going on with Eren?" Keita asked Kirito. "He's just thinking about something" Kirito told him as he too was wondering what was going on with in Eren's head.

'I don't get it. Why do I have my titan abilities and why am I able to use them in the game?' Eren asked in his head. 'Ymir didn't say anything about me having my titan abilities in this new world, but perhaps she forgot to mention it. But that still doesn't explain why I can use them in the game.'

That night, Keita had news for them. "As of our last hunt, we've saved 200,00 col!" he told them. "Buying our own house won't be just a dream pretty soon" Tetsuo said. "Why don't we upgrade Sachi's equipment?" one of the other guild members asked. "I'm fine with what I have" Sachi told them. "Don't be shy, it wouldn't be fair to make Eren and Kirito take the vanguard forever you know."

"I'm sorry" Sachi told the two of them. "We don't mind, don't worry about it" Kirito told her. "Sorry you two. Sachi, I know it's hard to switch jobs. But you know what, you're almost there" Keita said. "Let's all do our best!"

"Yeah" Sachi said as she nodded her head before looking at the floor. That night, Eren and Kirito went outside and went to the plains. When they got there, they saw a group of people fighting some beasts. One of them they notice was Klein. Once Klein was done fighting, he spotted the two of them. "Hey, it's you two!" he said as he went to them. "I was thinking I hadn't seen you two for a while. You two out leveling tonight?" he asked them.
