Jennie didn't know why, but she always felt Lisa's presence everywhere even though the woman
had made it clear that she wanted nothing to do with her. Jennie was upset, of course, but she tried her best to not think about it.

Chaeyoung was right. She needed to move on. There was no chance for her and Lisa in this world. There was no right time. God, it was not even the right person if she'd got to be honest.

Lisa didn't even like her the way she did.

"Jennie, your strawberry frappé." Jennie felt the coldness on her cheek as she glanced up to see Mino teasingly rub it against her face. "A penny for your thoughts, Jennie."

Oh, you don't want to know about who I am thinking of, right now. She thought.

Jennie smiled lightly but didn't respond. Of course, Mino had no idea of who Lisa was, but she was sure as hell that Lisa knew everything about him by now.

She didn't want to know why she did that because Jennie was no one to her. Apparently, Lisa just hated bad people and those bad people were involved with Jennie's life.

It was not because Lisa cared, of course. It would be ridiculous to even think about it that way.

She took it from his hand after giving him a slight smile. "Thank you, Mino. You don't have to do this, anyway. It looks expensive." Mino didn't care about the price of the drink, of course. He was rich as hell. But, Jennie cared. She didn't want him to spend something on her and got the wrong idea.

"It's your favorite drink, right? You deserve it after all the hard work you put into this company." He sat in front of her desk while Jennie sipped her drink, and well, that was good.

Really good.

"Thanks, again." She held her cup up as Mino grinned at her. "I had it made special for you. Tonight, are you free?" Mino asked after he got up, glancing at his watch a little bit before adding. "There is a new movie coming out, and I got two tickets already."

Jennie was confused, though. She had not agreed yet, but why he did buy the tickets already was a mystery. "I, um..."

"Please..." Mino pouted cutely. Jennie thought the man was soft on her. She knew he liked her, but he did not have the gut to ask her out yet. Maybe, this was his way of asking her out or something.

Truth be told, she didn't want to go, but in order to move on from Lisa, she needed to open herself up to new possibilities. She was old enough to date whoever she wanted.

Her parents even supported that. Lisa shouldn't have a say in whoever she liked. She didn't even know who Jennie was, after all.

"Okay."

"I'll pick you up at 5. Let's have dinner together afterwards. You can ask your friend to come too if you are not comfortable with hanging out alone with me, I mean..."

Jennie shook her head. "It'll be fine, Mino. It's not like we are strangers, right?"

He nodded with a slight smile before leaving.

"So, Mino asked you out? Are you sure? I mean it'll not be like rubbing salt in the wound, right?" Chaeyoung asked, worried since Jennie told her that they would go out this evening.

Jennie didn't know why, though. She seemed to support the idea that Jennie should move on from Lisa as soon as possible.

Jennie sighed. "Mino is a good man. I mean, you support me that I should move on from Lisa, right?"

She smiled softly, her hand on Jennie's shoulder. "We have an understanding that you should move on from Lisa because of...whatever or whoever she is, but I don't think that you should go out with someone else to do so. It's not working that way, you know."

"It's okay, Chae. I know what I am doing. Anyway, we are just watching some movies and eating dinner. That's all." Jennie assured her before she smiled gently. "Okay, if that's what you think, it would be great for you. Just don't rush whatever you have with Mino into a relationship, okay? Moving on from her is not supposed to be you have another man as a boyfriend."

"Got it." Suddenly, they heard a car honking from outside Jennie's apartment. "Alright, he's here now. Please take care of Kuma for me. I'll come back as soon as I can."

"Don't worry and no rush, okay? I'll take care of him for you." She waved goodbye as Jennie left to see Mino standing outside.

"Hey, there. You look good in that black dress of yours." He complimented, looking at her from head to toe. "It suits you so well."

She laughed lightly. "Come on, Mino. I am going out with you now. You don't have to-"

He opened his car's door before giving her a kiss on the cheek, cutting her off. "You look beautiful. I am not doing that to earn any approval. Just stating the truth."

"Well, thanks." The brunette muttered before they were driving off.

As they entered the movie hall, Jennie felt someone's eyes on her the whole time. She tried to catch a glance, but there were too many people there. It was too crowded.

"Here," Mino handed her the coke and popcorn as they sat down. It was in the middle of the movie that Jennie realized this was supposed to be the most horror film she had ever seen. There were no ghosts, though.

Only psychopaths everywhere, apparently.

"Sorry, I didn't know that it was this disturbing." Mino leaned down when he noticed her uncomfortableness.

Jennie nodded. But, suddenly she felt too scared, seeing all those people saying terrible things to one another. Blood. The flesh was being cut out.

"Do you want to leave?" Mino asked, worried. "I just need to go to the bathroom for a moment. That's all."

He gave a slight nod before asking if he could walk her there, which she rejected politely before going outside alone.

Jennie looked into the mirror, feeling dizzy for a moment. Taking a deep breath, she walked slowly back to the hall, but before she could walk any further, she tripped over and was about to fall. That was when she realized that somebody was catching her.

One arm underneath her body. The other was on her hand.

She tried to get a look at the face of the person, betting it was Mino. She was grateful that he was there only when she realized it was not.

The familiar scent.

Everything about the person who caught her reminded her of ...

"Lisa." She stated when she could take a look at the face. That was really her. She wore a hoodie and dark jeans. Yeah, it was Lisa. "Why are you here?" She pushed Lisa away when she made sure that she was okay standing on her own now.

"Jennie, I-"

"You are stalking me." Her words were trembling, but the idea of being stalked by Lisa was paradoxically ridiculous. She was supposed to be the one who did that because Lisa didn't have a crush on her.

She did.

"I am worried about you."

"Don't say that. And, Lisa..." Jennie sighed. She was not feeling well, but Lisa needed to know this. "Leave me alone."

She walked away so fast that she was sure that Lisa must run to catch up with her.

Sadly, she didn't.
