Aizawa looked down seeing a blue kitten nuzzle his leg. The kitten whined hungrily as he gave Aizawa huge sad eyes.
Aizawa bent down carefully scooping up the small kitten.
"Now where did you come from?" He asked confused as he walked into his empty classroom.
The kitten whined quietly soon curling against Aizawa's chest crying softly.
Aizawa frowned noticing the little kitten was wet and covered in dirt.
"Do you have a owner..?" Aizawa asked noticing the UA doors were open.
He must've just walked in here alone. Aizawa sighed walking over and closing the doors. He looked down noticing the kitten had no name tag or anything.
Just all by himself.
Aizawa gently rubbed behind the kitten ears soon rushing to his dorm. He looked down at the upset kitten holding him close.
"I've got you, shh shh." He whispered noticing the kitten cries were only getting louder.
"Everything is okay honey. You're just fine." Aizawa soothed as he drew a bath in his bathroom. He made sure the temperature was just right. He looked down at the small kitten who still cried softly.
Aizawa frowned gently taking the kitten off of him and placing him inside the water.
Instantly the kitten meowed jumping out of the water and falling back down near Aizawa. He ran over curling up near Aizawa's leg again shaking his head furiously.
Aizawa sighed
"No honey, I need to get you cleaned up." He whispered worriedly bending down to pick the kitten up again.
The kitten whimpered seeing the human gently drop him back into the liquid of doom.
He quickly did the same thing as before curling up against the male's leg again.
Aizawa thought for a moment.
He walked over to his kitchen, the kitten followed right behind him. Aizawa smirked grabbing a small treat made for kittens that he had purchased earlier.
He didn't know why to get them but he just had a feeling. Guess that paid off.
He looked back down at the kitten.
"You can have this treat if you take a bath?" He bargained.
The kitten peeked up at the man whining softly for the treat.
Aizawa felt bad but he needed to get the little guy cleaned up.
"C'mere." Aizawa whispered going back to the bathroom. He placed the treat in his pocket scooping the kitten up quickly.
The kitten started to tremble clinging onto Aizawa's shirt. Aizawa cooed "It's okay honey, it won't hurt you." He promised placing the kitten in the water.
This was the first time he managed to get the kitten to stay in the water for over 20 seconds.
"I wonder what you name is.." Aizawa trailed off as he got the small wash cloth and covered it with soap.
He carefully started to wash the little kitten.
The kitten frowned wanting to tell him. He looked at the male soon shifting to his borrower form.
"Iida.." The (now) child borrower whispered staring down at the water.
"It's Iida."
Aizawa gulped backing up immediately. His eyes were as wide as the sun. He thought this was just a kitten?!
Not a borrower who could shift to a animal form?!
The young boy peered up at the scared man instantly starting to cry.
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean-?!" Iida tried to finish but just shifted back to his kitten form bawling his eyes out.
Aizawa instantly felt his heart break for the child. He didn't mean to make him think he was some sort of monster, it just caught him off guard.
Quickly he went back over to the sink finishing up the bath and soon dried him off. The kitten's fur was a beautiful bright blue color again that complemented his gray eyes well. Aizawa held the kitten close to his chest again rubbing his fur gently.
"Honey...I apologize. I didn't mean to overreact the way I did." Aizawa whispered down to him as he pulled out the treat from his pocket.
He noticed the kitten locked eyes on it quickly.
Aizawa smiled giving it to Iida who ate it instantly. He peered up at the male with tears still in his eyes.
Aizawa hummed "You can go back to your borrower size, okay? I just didn't expect that to happened. I'm sorry again." He told the little one gently.
Iida looked up at the male trying to figure if he was being truthful or not.
But he did realize the male had bathed him which no other person had done. So he slowly shifted to his borrower form clinging onto the giant.
In Iida's borrower form he was wrapped in a few rags.
Aizawa knew Iida needed actual clothes however.
He got to work looking up doll clothes on Amazon. It was amazing he actually found some, chuckling when the child kept trying to see what he was doing on his phone.
***
A few days later***
There was a knock at Aizawa's door. Iida look over sitting on the couch where he was watching movies with Aizawa. He quickly climb down running to the huge door to see who it was.
Aizawa laughed at the child's eagerness.
"Buddy wait for me, I don't want you around strangers." He said getting up and scooping Iida up away from the door.
Aizawa carefully placed Iida in his chest pocket opening up and seeing a delivery worker.
Iida poked his head out curiously staring at the women who gave Aizawa his package.
The delivery worker was stunned to see the borrower but gave him a smile. Aizawa thanked her soon shutting the door and going back over to the couch.
"You excited?" Aizawa joked plucking Iida out of his pocket and placing him down on the seat next to him.
Iida nodded quickly.
"Let me see!!!" He squealed.
Aizawa smiled opening up the box soon revealing dozens of small clothes for Iida to wear. For the coldest weather there was coats, and for the warmer seasons there were even shorts and tank tops.
Iida was overwhelmed with all the options running over to a blue short sleeved shirt and white shorts. He wanted to put these on first immediately.
He grinned up at Aizawa placing his arms up.
Aizawa rolled his eyes jokingly as he scooped Iida up.
"What is it-?!" Iida instantly hugged Aizawa the best he could.
"Thanks Dad!!!" Iida chirped happily.
Aizawa froze at the nickname but soon let a small grin show. He carefully rubbed IIda's hair.
