Winter. The worst season there ever was in Ojiro's opinion.
Food was always low and the temperatures just had to be in the negatives.
It wasn't his season.

Ojiro let out a sneeze soon rubbing his red nose. He wrapped his tail around his body
to keep his warm. His wings soon curled around his body also trying to make him
feel better. Being a fairy in the winter time was difficult. Especially since he didn't have anyone
out there with him. His friends and family had all migrated a couple of months ago to a warmer place.
Unfortunately for Ojiro, he accidentally sleep through the migration.
So here he was, all alone.

The blonde fairy sat down on a branch shaking.
He hated it out here...why oh why did he go to sleep on one of the most important days of fairy history. Why was he like this...

The day had only seemed to get colder and quieter.
Ojiro stayed on his branch wondering if maybe he should migrate by himself.

But..he didn't know the routes well, he was bound to get lost. The fairy started to feel completely
defeated. He curled into a ball, crying softly to himself.

Shouji was currently going on one of his hikes. He loved the cold air on his face as he walked upon
endless roads ahead. To him, it was much better than sweating on hot summer days. Winter was the perfect seasonto hike. He let out a huge sigh watching as his breath flew into the air.

It was that cold.

Shouji kept walking examining the trees with no leaves on them. He frowned at that, but knew that was apart of the season.

Ojiro closed his eyes tiredly. His whole body shivered, feeling too weak to move or do anything.
He closed his eyes and that was literally the last thing he remembered.

Ojiro looked at one tree confused. There was a small glowing yellow light in the branches He slowly went up to the treesoon gulping when the light started to fall to the ground.

Shouji quickly ran over reaching one of his arms and catching the small glowing light. It was freezing...poor thing but...
What was it?!

Shouji carefully moved his hand closer to get a good look at the thing. It was a small fairy who was covered in leaves for attire. His light appeared to be
dimming as he shivered coldly curling up in Shouji's hands. The fairy's wings fell down spreading across
Shouji's palm. His tail did as well. The poor guy was unconscious.

Shouji carefully place the fairy in his pocket. He hoped some of his warmth would bounce off on the little guy.
He quickly hurried on back to his house. This was way more important than the hike.

***

Once Shouji got home, he went over to his bed quickly. He took the fairy out of his pocket placing
him in his bed. As Shouji was making sure the fairy was tucked in the covers he noticed a
small word written on his arm.

'Ojiro.'

Shouji smiled reading the name.
"You're gonna be okay Ojiro, just need to get you warmed up..." Shouji whispered.
He looked over the little fairy rubbing his hair with his finger.

"Everything is going to be alright." He repeated looking over the fairy.
Ojiro smiled in his sleep soon reaching up and grabbing the finger.
Shouji squeaked shocked.
Ojiro brought the finger to his chest. (It was almost bigger than him)
He hugged the finger closely, as he snoozed softly.

Shouji smiled relieved. He tried to get up but Ojiro had a death grip on his finger.

***

Everything was blurry. Ugh...
Ojiro yawned tiredly feeling a extreme amount of warmth near him. This wasn't the branch?
He slowly sat up rubbing his face. He opened his eyes soon panicking at the change of surroundings.

He was in a big bright blue room with carpets and decorations up everywhere. It was really nice.
The bed he was on was very fluffy as he looked down at it. He saw a finger on his lap confused? He slowly followed the finger to the person it belonged to.

Ojiro squealed in fear seeing two eyes staring down at him curiously. Quickly the fairy tried to fly away but his wings still needed rest. He flew up for a moment only to plop back onto the bed.

Shouji tried to hide a giggle but couldn't help but let one out. That was adorable.

Ojiro glared at the male. That was rude of him. His body soon glowed a bright booming red color.

Shouji watched shocked at the new change.

"Oh I'm sorry..it was just..." Shouji muttered pointlessly.

Ojiro huffed having a mix of anger and fear. His glow soon turned into a red-purple mixture. He slowly got up wobbling on the shaky surface. Shouji gently used his closest hand wrapping it around Ojiro's waist. Ojiro watched wincing.

He hated to admit it, but it fixed his balance immediately. Ojiro placed his hands on the larger male's hands. His hands were barley bigger than the male's knuckle.

Shouji gave a nervous smile "That's it. Just chill out, okay?"
Ojiro frowned "Easy for you to say!" He snapped angrily. Adrenaline was swarming the poor fairy.
Quickly the fairy gasped covering his mouth. His glow was soon a bright yellow of embarrassment.

Shouji frowned "I know...but you've got to trust me." He whispered looking down at Ojiro.
Ojiro whimpered avoiding eye contact quickly.

"Sorry..." Ojiro apologized as his glow went to a deep blue color.

"It's alright, there's no need to be upset." Shouji assured not liking the new color all over the fairy. He shifted lifting his hands up and placing the fairy in his mouth hair. Ojiro looked at the human confused.

Shouji smiled up at him "You're still a tad bit cold." He said reaching up and rubbing the male's back. He tried to lighten the mood.

Ojiro giggled looking down at the male. His glow went to a brighter color again.

Shouji smirked "I think we're gonna be friends."
Ojiro smiled shyly liking that.
"Thank you for saving my life." Ojiro whispered after a few moments.

Shouji's eyes widened "I just helped you out buddy, I wouldn't say all that..."

Ojiro frowned "You saved me...I could've froze!" He said sternly.

Shouji nodded barley. "I guess so...you want some hot cocoa?" He asked trying to change the subject.

Ojiro looked at the human confused,
"Hot cocoa?" He squeaked curiously.
Shoji grinned "Yeah buddy, hot cocoa."
