Once we made it back to the hotel, Toto announced that he needed to go and have a meeting with the team. He told me he would take Jack and drop him off with Bono after, leaving me to get ready on my own.
I was in the room thinking about what I should wear. It was cold outside, yet I didn't want to wear just jeans or pants. Toto had told me he was going to take me to his favourite restaurant only a short drive from the hotel. Not being able to decide on my attire for the evening, I head into the bathroom to get ready there.
I had a shower and upon exiting, spent some time putting my hair up into a styled messy bun. I curled the strands I left out, framing my face nice and elegantly. I put on some makeup, keeping the look glamorously natural. I grabbed the small white gold necklace and put it on, pairing it with matching earrings and bracelet. I exited the bathroom and walked back over to my case.
Looking in my case, I shuffled the clothes out of the way, looking at what I had brought. A flash of red fabric caught my eye. It was the dress I had worn to the wedding only days prior, forgetting that I had packed it. I pull it out and examine it closely. The mid calf length dress was made of the softest silk fabric and had thin shoulder straps. It would be perfect for the occasion.
It was cold outside so I decided to put on a pair of stockings underneath to add a little warmth to my outfit. I also chose to pair it with black close-toed strappy heels and coat. Putting the stockings and dress on, I realised that I wouldn't be able to zip the dress all the way up as it finished in quite an awkward spot.
I slipped the heels on but I would have to wait for Toto to arrive to zip it up. And what is wrong with a harmless tease as well. I begin to feel a little nervous, the severity of the situation was weighing on me a little. It was undeniable that chemistry had developed between Toto and I, but I was also scared that this uncharted territory would effect our relationship enough that I would lose both him and Jack.
I didn't have much more time to overthink as I heard the door click open and heavy footsteps following. I look to my side, Toto standing still with his crisp white shirt and grey slacks. He looked incredibly attractive, especially how he was standing so powerfully.
"Atemberaubend, bärchen (breathtaking, little bear)." He mumbles and if there was any other noise in the room, I would have missed it especially with not understanding the obvious German he was saying. He walks over and kisses my cheek, resting his jacket next to mine on the bed.
"Do you mind?" I ask as I turn away from Toto, indicating that I needed assistance with my zipper. He hums and approaches, taking the zip gently in his hand and coaxing it up. His hands linger a little, slowly gliding up to secure my dress. Once finished, we stand completely still, his hand softly on my waist.
I turn towards him, making eye contact as we both stand there. "Unglaublich (incredible)." I smile softly again not understanding what he was saying but I could feel the sincerity behind his words.
"I do not speak German Toto." I remark softly, smiling up at him. He only shrugs and puts his hands in his pockets, clearly not quite sure what to do with them.
"Best you learn then Schatzi." He replies. His smirk indicates that he is about to make a sneaky remark and I prepare myself for what it could be. "And for the record, thats loosely translated to little treasure."
"And what is bärchen?" I imitate his accent and deep voice on the last word, and we both break out in a laugh. He walks over to the desk, grabbing his small wallet and putting it in his pocket.
"Little bear." He says, he continues to focus on the things placed on his desk. I grab out my phone and quickly search up 'German terms of endearment'. I click a link and begin scrolling through quickly.
