"Y/n, I'm bored again!" I laughed and rolled my eyes, know there was only one way we were going to get out of this. "Go on then, go get your pot" he smiled menacingly and practically dived into his back pack. "Really? Ed. Really? It was in your bag the whole time?" I asked, he pulled a funny face at me. "And to think, I was going to buy from you!" He laughed at me and pulled out a joint. He lit it, took in a deep inhale and sat down next to me. "You better pray no one is around for miles, this smells strong" I said, fighting the cough I knew was going to come up. "Here, princess, take a hit" I raised my eye brow at him at the pet name and took the joint. "Just so you know, I'm probably going to cough up a lung here. I always do edibles if I do it at all" he stared into my eyes and stole a quick kiss off my lips, "you'll be fine gorgeous" he said in a hushed tone. I ignored my stomach doing summersaults and put the blunt to my lips and inhaled.

And as I predicted, I coughed to the high heavens. Eddie was pissing himself laughing, the prick. My eyes were watering, "this is very relaxing Ed" I said as I kept on coughing. "Real princess we've got here haven't we ladies and gentlemen" he announced to no one, I couldn't help but feel he should be in the theatre, or the circus. "Real gentleman we have here as well, cheers Ed" he just stuck his tongue out at me. "Mature" I said as I took another inhale. "Who needs maturity when you have me, sweetheart" he said with a wink. "This stuff does not calm you down does it Ed?" I asked. "Can't calm a personality darling" he said with big gestures of his hands. "And I would never want to" he chuckled softly, telling me without words that the weed was taking effect and he was mellowing out.

"Hey Eddie, when did you- why did- we- what?" I said, my head was fuzzy and I couldn't really see but it was finneeee. "I'm gonna need some more - uhhh- words I guess. For that. To answer, m'lady" I giggled at his antics and tried to string together a sentence. "We kissed" I stated. We both laughed our asses off at that, because we did! We kissed! "Yeah man, it's amazing"
I laughed at him. "It was amazing" I said thinking back. "No, it is amazing" he said before leaning in close to me and kissed me. He missed though and ended up on my nose, we both laughed again. "Again" I said, and made an - what must have been- obscene kissy face. He ignored it and just dived in again, this time planting an accurate kiss on my lips. We just kissed for what felt like hours but could've been seconds.

"You're my first kiss" I told him out of the blue. "Really? Man that sucks." he said and leaned against the wall, taking more inhales. "Why?" I asked, he made a questioning noise. "Why does that suck, Ed?" I asked seemingly not high anymore, I knew I was but I was thinking clearer instead of letting the feeling take me. "Because!! I'm on the run, okay? I'll be dead this time next week and that's being generous. Y/n I like you. More than anyone. And it sucks it just fucking sucks that I can't be with you..." I shook my head. "I won't let that happen, Ed. I won't okay? Look at me" he kept his eyes on the floor "Look at me Eddie!" he looked into my eyes, "I won't let it happen, no way" he nodded and put his head in my shoulder. "God knows what would happen if you weren't by my side, y/n, mi'lady," he kissed my cheek. "Jesus, how is anybody in the whole world scared of you. Eddie Munson, big softy. Big bear softy!" I said playfully and hugged him as if he was actually a big teddy bear. "Don't go telling people, no one wants to buy drugs from a softy." he said.

Later

"Guys! Code read! Guys!! Code red over" came through the radio that dustin gave us. I reached for it, "whats the issue, over" I asked. "Jason is onto you. He knows where you are, Chrissy's boy friend. Over" me and Eddie both looked at each other. "We gotta go, I'll update soon. Over and out" I stood up and looked outside where I saw headlights. "Boat. Now. They don't know I'm here okay? I'll say Rick asked me to house sit or something okay? Hide." I said looking into his eyes. "Tarp! Tarp! Okay good get in. Stay safe" I kissed him for a second and then left, I saw the boat house light on and quickly turned it off.

I ran into the main house, opened a bag of crisps (chips if you're American) and turned the tv on. I also lit a blunt to make it seem like I was here, not expecting visitors. I quickly ate some of the crisps and closed my eyes.

There was a knock at the door, time to put those acting lessons to use. "Yellow" I answered. "Oh- y/n, right?" He got my name slightly wrong but I had to act stoned. "Yeah, hey you're Jason right? Basket baaaallll" I laughed lightly. "Is Eddie here?" he asked, looking like he was already going to turn back. "Eddie? My little bro's friend. I don't think so." I leaned in close as if telling a secret. "I check the whole house before I sleep at night, keeps away the creepy crawlies and monsters" he nodded, wearily. "And you never saw Eddie?" He asked "nope not even another being! Can you believe that?? Oh shit sorry my man, I lied. There was some spider. But I killed him with hairspray" I coughed a little. "Hey! I just lit a new joint you wanna join me?" I asked, praying to- well anyone that he'd say no. "I'm good." He turned to his gang. "He's not here, it's only a stoned girl. Our search goes on!" They rushed back to their car and quickly drove off.

I sighed in relief, and stayed in the house a while longer until I was sure they were gone. Quickly I got a piece of material that would suffice for a blindfold. I quickly put it on and saw they were devising the next part of their plan, and making fun of me slightly but that is beside the point. They were gone.

I quickly rushed back to the boat house and threw the tarp off the boat. "Eddie! It's okay! They're gone. No one is going to hurt you here, okay" I assured. I helped him out the boat and hugged him close. "Y/n, that was the scariest moment of my life..." I hummed and held him tighter. "I know, honey, I know" he sniffed. "They're gone?" He asked and pulled away. "Long gone, I made sure." I went and sat by the wall again. "We should radio Dustin" I said. "Dustin, we're safe. We're okay and still in the boat house, I delt with them, over" I put my head against Eddie's shoulder when be came and sat next to me. "Oh thank god! Okay stay there. We gotta go, over and out" I put the radio down and eventually, after talking (and kissing) with Eddie I fell asleep, but not before I heard him say something that rocked me to my core. "Sleep tight, princess. I love you..."
