"Issie, blink twice if you hate Louis." Daisy said to Isla as she sat on a plushie chair that was meant to help her sit up. The baby turned her head to the kitchen where Jay was fixing dinner, completely distracted by the noise. Phoebe huffed. "Squeal if Louis smells like cheesy bread." Isla stuffed a toy into her mouth, turning to look at the twins with a blank stare.
"Are you guys talking about me?" Louis asked playfully as he entered the living room. "Yes, we are. Isla says that you smell like dog poop."
"She can't even talk, so haha." Louis said and took a seat beside Isla on the floor, who immediately started screeching when she saw him. Phoebe gasped, "She didn't do that when we asked if you smelt like cheesy bread!" Louis laughed, lifting Isla up so he could place her in his lap. She had found a liking in cuddling with him, and being around him in general. She'd start crying if either one of her parents were in the room and weren't holding them. "Because she loves her Daddy, isn't that right, Issie." Isla started to blow raspberries when Louis lifted her up in the air, giggling.
Daisy groaned, standing up from the carpet. "We're leaving." She said. Phoebe got up along with her, sticking her tongue out at him before taking her sisters hand and walking away. Louis chuckled, grabbing the possum toy he and Harry had bought the other month, swinging it above the five month old. Isla laughed, reaching for the toy until Louis dropped it on her face, making a loud squeal come out her mouth. Isla had become one happy baby. She got chubbier, and was slowly growing her first tooth in the front of her mouth. She started to grow more hair that was curling and was always screaming. It was crazy how much of a change she had gone from when she was first born to now.
"Can you give Daddy a kiss?" Louis asked. The baby still didn't understand anything really other than her name and no, but whenever Louis or Harry pointed to their cheeks, she knew what that meant. When Louis did, she smiled and pressed her lips to his cheek, slobbering all over it. Louis laughed, despite having spit on his face and cheered. "Good job."
Jay came into the living room. "Do you know what time Harry is getting back?" Louis pulled his phone out from his pocket, seeing the time. "Um.. maybe give it a few more minutes."
"Alright. I don't want the food to get cold."
"Don't worry about it, mum." Harry had gone down to Anne's to visit her and his sister for some alone time, after being busy with Isla, especially since she was reaching big milestones. They were having their five month check up soon, too, and he knew that during the Summer he'd only be caring about Isla. Then he would be starting medical school and Louis would be in Law, he didn't know how he'd be able to juggle school and Isla. Although he's been doing that now college was completely different. Especially if he had to pass if he wanted to be a pediatrician. Graduation was coming too. Harry knew sometimes he overstressed, but this time he knew he wasn't. Now he had decisions to make, he had to be a good parent, and at least find a job. He knew they couldn't live with Jay forever. She had four other kids for christ sake! And now she had her son and his boyfriend and a loud baby. He felt like a burden.
Louis played with Isla for a little longer until Harry had finally got home, Isla noticed him at the front door and she screamed, bouncing on Louis' leg. Harry laughed softly, shutting the door. He sat across from Louis, who handed Isla to him. "How was it?"
"Good." Harry answered, tickling Isla's side. "Did you eat dinner there?" Jay asked. "Um.. no. I had a feeling you were going to make some." Jay smiled and nodded, going back to the kitchen.
Isla started to whine when she saw she didn't have Harry's attention and he laughed, lifting the girl to stand on her feet as he held under her armpits. "Hi, Issie. Were you good?"
Isla stuck her fists into her mouth, kicking her little legs. "I had a question." Harry told Louis. Louis hummed, playing with the possum on the floor. "You know graduations next month, and we get to decorate our hat and I was wondering if like... you wanted to match?"
Louis smiled. "What do you want to put on it?"
"Like.. I don't know. Maybe something that has to do with Isla and.. yeah."
"That sounds cute, love." Harry nodded, biting his bottom lip. "I have another thing, also."
"Fire away." Louis said. Harry smiled nervously, settling Isla back into his lap and played with her onesie. "So.. um, I got valedictorian."
"That's great, Haz!" Louis exclaimed. Harry blushed. "Y-Yeah. But... uh. I-I don't know what to put on it, and I don't know if I'm going to be able to talk in front of the school. They might say something, or they'll laugh or--"
"Baby, don't worry about that."
Harry frowned. "But, I-I have an idea of what I want to say but I don't know if it'll go well."
"You shouldn't worry about what they'll say, love. This is about you, remember?"
"I just have doubts." Harry mumbled. "I can help you with it, if you want. Even though I'm sure you'll do just as fine without my help, but if you're really scared I can. But I assure you, no matter what anyone else says it's you who has a higher academic score than them, am I right?"
Harry giggled, nodding. "I guess."
"I'm really proud of you, babe."
"Thanks."

Harry and Louis were sat on the floor as they worked on their caps. Isla was also on the floor in her plush chair, trying to suck on her toes which Harry kept taking out her mouth. Harry had bought all types of supplies for it. Glitter, markers, scrap paper, beads, yarn, charms, anything. He was helping Louis sprinkle glitter on his cap when he caught Isla with her foot in her mouth again. "Hold on." He mumbled. Louis laughed quietly when he saw Harry take her foot out, scolding her. He lifted Isla out the seat and sat her on his lap. "How about we have her help?" Louis suggested.
Harry looked down at the brunette. "You want to help Daddy and Mommy, Issie?"
Isla babbled, reaching for the scissors, which Harry quickly took away. "I think that's a yes." Louis said. Harry rolled his eyes with a smile before he had an idea. "You know, since you want to use your feet so bad." He muttered, grabbing the paintbrush. "What're you doing now." Louis said amusingly. "Let's put Isla's foot print on there."
"Is it going to fit?" Louis asked.
"Yeah, Lou, have you seen how tiny they are?" Harry uncapped the green and blue paints, pouring it onto a sheet of paper. He started on Isla's first foot, painting it blue. Isla was giggling uncontrollably, trying to wiggle out of Harry's hands which only had him laughing with her. "Alright, alright, Issie." He said, trying to calm down the girl. He gently pressed her little foot onto the paper covering the cap, holding it down so it wouldn't spread.
"That is cute." Louis commented. Harry smiled and painted Isla's next foot green, the girl doing the same as early. Both caps had now had two little green and blue foot prints with silver glitter sparkling it and on the bottom the initials I.T.
Harry thought the paint covering Isla's feet were so adorable that he snapped a picture of them, Isla smiling widely, still giggly from before. "You think everyone will like it."
"Fuck yeah." Louis said.
"Lou, language!"
