Hi guys! Sorry I stopped posting chapters, I didn't know what to do but I've come with the conclusion that time jumping felt like a major gap for important stuff, so I unpublished chaps 13 & 14 and we're going back to the previous one. If you'd like to go back to that one to refresh your memory, you can.

P.S I failed my two SOLS but we pulled through, I'm still taking honors classes 😆

Summer drags on for what feels like forever. Harry's swamped, searching all across America for a university. He's sent applications, all of which have been accepted, but he can't make a decision. On top of that, Louis started working as a paralegal. Harry's not quite sure what that is, but he says it has to do with becoming a lawyer, so Harry doesn't question it much. Isla's also growing, she's eight months and from Dr. Loaiza's words, she's developing quickly and appropriately. She's adorable as well, but she's a menace - just like her father. Harry's woken up more often than not to intense pain in his nipple, all because she bit him while she was asleep. He even had to get cream because she bit it so hard and his nipple skin was irritated.

Isla's also a very fast crawler. Harry puts her down for a minute and she's already taking off, moving her little legs rapidly. He has no idea how a small baby like her can be so fast and he ends up chasing her around Jay's house, and when he finally catches up to her – he's more than out of breath. Today is no different. Harry grabs Isla off the ground and heaves out a breath, adjusting her on his hip. Phoebe and Daisy laugh loudly from the sofa, where they had watched the encounter, live. The older boy brushes his curls out his eye, cheeks flushing in embarrassment.

Clarise chuckles from her own seat. "Girls, let's not laugh at him."

Harry sighs. "It's fine. She obviously thinks it's funny." He says. As if on cue, Isla lets out a belly laugh, her dimples depressing deeply into her cheeks. Harry can't help but stare at his daughter fondly and blows a raspberry on her cheek. "Alright, girls, you've been watching the telly long enough. It's time to play outside." Clarise declares, leisurely standing up.

The twins groan in exasperation, throwing their heads back as they complain. "Nan." They whine. Clarise shakes her head, her decision clearly made. Reluctantly, Phoebe and Daisy get off the couch and go upstairs to change out their pajamas. The elder then looks at him, shooting him a smile, which he returned. "Come, sit." She says.

Harry bites his lip and slowly sits down. Isla shifts on his lap and gets on her feet, wobbling. He holds her waist for support so she can stand on his thighs. She's been doing this for a while, something Louis initiated after she started crawling. Harry isn't sure if he's ready for her to be walking if she's already such a trouble crawling. Clarise is adoringly watching them before she speaks. "I just wanted to let you know that I'm very proud of you. I must admit, I thought that you and Louis would have a lot of trouble with Isla, but you've handled everything maturely, and I admire you for that. I would have never been able to handle any of this like you have." She says.

Harry can't help the grin that breaks out on his face. "Thank you, Mrs. Poulston."

Clarise laughs. "I told you to call me Clarise, honey."

"I'm sorry, it's a bad habit." He says.

She hums and goes into her purse. "I have a present that I meant to give you when you graduated, but I thought I'd give you some more time."

Harry watches her anxiously as she digs inside her bag, holding onto Isla like a comfort bear. Clarise finally fishes out her envelope and hands it to him. The younger boy takes it with hesitation and tears it open. Inside, there was £7850.59. Harry inhales sharply, staring at the money with round eyes. He gazes up at Louis' grandmother, and she simply smiles. "You deserve it."
