Personally I think that their was a lot more trauma built up in the Uchiha’s that is just never addressed. They were wrapped up in so many scandals and there was so much fucked up stuff that everyone knew they were doing but decided to turn a blind eye and just say “Oh well, it's Uchiha business” And as someone who has experienced abuse I know what it looks like and i know what someone who has experienced it can look like. I think their was alot more abuse done to Obito and Itachi, even before they left the village or conflict started. It was just never seen/spoken of in the film.
