it was their 7th day at the amusement park. katsuki and y/n were bored as ever and trying to find something to do. they've tried countless ideas, games, etc. nothing was working.
"ughh theres nothing fun to do!" she whined, hitting her head against the counter. just then a group of boys walked up to the counter. y/n stood up straight and fixed her hat.
"hi what can I get you?" she beamed.
"large coke, and your number on the side please" one of them spoke and smirked at her. she blushed slightly and looked over at katsuki, in hopes he would help. he stared back at her and huffed.
she sighed lightly and looked back at the group. "would that be all?" she answered unenthusiastically.
"can I also get ur number?" another spoke up. she sighed and agreed, not really caring about what else they were gonna ask.
"sweet, whats the total?" he spoke up. leaning on the counter towards her.
"the total will be-" she stopped when she felt a presence behind her. she looked down and saw bakugos hands leaning on the counter next to hers.
"they bothering you, babe?" he spoke up, both cringing at the word.
"sorta, I can handle it from here though." she answered back and smirked at the group. they all looked dumbfounded and it took everything in here to not burst out laughing.
they handed her the cash and she put it in the register, handing them back the change. she turned around to be met with bakugos face, close to hers. she took a quick glance towards his lips and looked back up at him. he stared down at her and turned around to walk off.
she grabbed the guys soda and went back to hand it too them. they left quickly after, not saying a word. she looked around and grabbed a lollipop out of one of the jars. she unwrapped it and put it in her mouth.
katsuki looked over at her and replayed the event in his mind. I can't possibly like her. I've known her for 7 days. he thought. he looked down at her lips and felt weird again.
"thanks btw." she spoke up and turned towards katsuki, only to find him already staring at her. she quickly looked the other way to hide her blush.
"yea whatever, they would've kept pestering you if I didn't do something." he replied back still staring at her figure. y/n turned and looked at him.
"we should hang out" she said standing up straight, taking the lollipop out her mouth and walking towards him. he stood up straight as well and crossed his arms.
"why should I hang out with some loser like you?" he questioned and smirked. she stood a few inches from and looked up.
"because.." she trailed off, looking into his eyes.
"I'm fun to hang out with." she finished and checked her watch.
"yeah sure. what do u do for fun? sit at home and watch tv?" he questioned.
"hang out with me and you'll find out," she put the lollipop in bakugos mouth and skipped off mumbling something about it being her break-time.
he sighed and look towards the ground, you're gonna be the death of me.
