《prologue》 "ah shit im gonna be late!!" the girl yelled, running downstairs to put her shoes on. it was her first day at her new job, and she was almost running late.
y/n put her shoes on, grabbed her bag and stepped out of her apartment. she ran as fast as she could down the sidewalk. on her way there, she bumped into an ash-blonde kid.
"im so sorry! im running late for work and didnt see you!" she bowed to the person and continued running. the boy stared at her running down the sidewalk and mumbled curse words at her for bumping into him.
when y/n arrived, she bent down and breathed heavily. "sorry im late! i missed my alarm and- and i lost track of time!" she spoke quickly. her manager chuckled at her and patted her shoulder.
"it's alright kid, its your first day i'll let it slide." she smiled brightly at her. y/n stood up straight and set her stuff down. it was her first day at her new job at the amusement park. she was working at the food stand for right now, and would be promoted depending on her work.
"follow me! ill show u where you'll be working" the manager spoke, walking towards the door, yet it opened revealing the familiar ash-blonde kid from earlier. he looked up and noticed the girl. he groaned as he recognized her.
"oh right! you too will be working together from now on." the manager spoke to the two pushing them together with a smile. y/n tensed up when she got close to the boy.
"yes ma'am!" y/n shouted, bowing slightly. the manager walked out and the two followed pursuit.
when they arrived at the stand, there was already a line of people waiting. y/n sweat-dropped at the sight and looked away. bakugo noticed this, but decided to ignore her actions.
"alright here we are! im sure you know what to do from here, have fun and get along please!" the manager spoke, and walked out with a smile back to her office.
"uhm, hi im y/n l/n nice to meet you!" the girl stuck her hand out in hopes for him to shake it, in which he only grumbled and turned away.
"katsuki bakugo, lets just get this over with" he groaned and walked into the stand starting to serve customers. y/n put on of her airpods in and did the same.
