3. New School, New Start

Gus'sPOV: Okay Augustus you got this...First day of a new school in a new world. Can't be that hard to fit in right?? Right?!

Vee looked over at me and touched my left shoulder "It's going be okay yeah? Just try to fit in with the crowd." That's when she left me to catch up with her group of friends...Okay I got this..

I walked into the building trying to find my locker once I did I opened it and put some of my stuff away inside of it...I will not get used to these...I closed my locker shut and was about to head to first class till I bumped into someone making them fall.

"Oh uh sorry..Let me help you out." I said to she looked up at me she had light purple hair and green eyes and smiled and took my hand getting up with her stuff. "Thank you...I'm assuming one of the new students??" She asked I smiled a little

"Yeah me and my friends here um..Moved hear for a while..." She nodded and held out her hand I grabbed and and shock it. "My name is Samantha, but you can call me Sam if you'd like." She said I chuckled "Nice to meet you Sa-" that's when Sam was talked to the ground playfully by another girl with dark brown hair screaming excitedly.

"Ahhhhh Sammy I missed you so so much!!!! Summer was so boring without yooou!!!" Sam laughed as she held the girl close "Maddie chill I was only gone for a month!" Maddie then whined "Yeah but you're my girlfriend of course I'll miss you!!!"

Maddie then noticed me "Hi.." I said shyly she then got up and helped Sam off the floor and looked at her "Who's he?" She asked her Sam rolled her eyes "I don't know yet, he was gonna say his name till you rudely interrupted us!" She said playfully Maddie huffed and looked at me.

"So what's your name stranger?" "My name is Augustus, but you can call me Gus for short that's what my friends call me." I said calmly Maddie nodded "My name is Madison to you." I was taken back..."Okay Madd- Madison." I said Madison then kissed Sam on the cheek "I'll be in class saving you a seat next to me." She said as she then left us be...Rude....

Sam sighed as she hooked my arm with hers "Don't mind Maddie she just doesn't get along with others that well at first! Now let's see what class you have first!" She looked down at my paper "Ooooh you have Mis Emily...In math class..." I looked at her confused "Why you say it like it's a bad thing?" I asked her she sighed

"Mis. Emily is hard on all of us especially new students in the new school year...No one knows why she's like this..But luckily for you, me and Maddie are in that class with you! Now come on before we're late!!"

*After school*

Hunter'sPOV: Soon as we got to Luz's home we all landed on the couch Camille walked in and chuckled "Seem's like you guy's had a long day hu?" I ground

"I take that as a yes." She said "Dinners almost done!" As she walked into the kitchen. "Oh shoot!! I gotta met up with Sam at the mall!" Gus said running out the house once more. Who the heck is Sam?

I saw Willow trying work her scroll once more I sighed "It's no use, I've already tried to contact someone from the isles and got nothing!" She looked at me "I'm still going try! My dad's are probably worried sick about me now...Hopefully they're okay..."

"Speaking of the boiling Isles I really hope King and Eda are okay...." Luz said as she looked down Amity hugged her tight. "Eda's probably a mess without me and probably trying help everyone..." I looked at Willow as she was looking over at Luz I sighed and got up and hugged Luz. "It's not your fault okay? Stop thinking that yeah? We all choosed to jump through the portal we didn't have any other choice to get too safety.." Luz was taken back by surprise but hugged back.

"I promise will try our best to help and find another way back to the boiling Isles to get back home..." She nodded I pulled away and saw Luz's mom in the kitchen smiling at us. "Time for dinner guys. I already saved a plate for Gus when he gets back." I nodded and walked over to Willow and grabbed her hand she looked down at it and back at me.

"I'm sure everyone is okay and hopefully safe back home..Especially your dad's..Now come on let's go eat." I said she smiled lightly and nodded and walked in the kitchen with me as the others followed behind.
