Chapter 5: Paradise, Warzone

Maries POV
     When I woke up Zed was gone I sat up got dressed and walked down the hallway to my room I got some nice clothes and went back to Zed's room. He was sitting on the bed dressed. I then said are you ready? He said for what. I then said we are going to see Henry in the hospital. He then says, Oh yeah, yeah I remember I then said we are going to go do something today also? Zed said, I don't know it's not a good idea but it sounds fun. He then said ok we will but it will be difficult for us with people following us. I then said we will be fine I can handle them. Zed was already ready and we told Nate and Lewis. Lewis said that he will go along and stay with Henry while Zed and I hang out. Zed Lewis and I went to the car and drove to the hospital and Zed drove. When we got to the hospital I saw a few people look at all of us and smile, some of them tried to walk up to us but we were walking too fast. We checked into the hospital and went to Henry's room Lewis was the first one to hug him, Lewis, then gave him a sweet kiss on his cheek. Henry didn't want to let Lewis go so I said Okay Larry wrap it up. Zed and I are going to do stuff today and we want to get back before it's too dark Lewis is staying here with you for a while anyway. Zed then said Henry I'm sorry, you're even more hurt from me punching you in the face. Henry then said the doctors said that if I wasn't woken up then I could have died my brain was shutting me down and the wake-up kept me alive. Zed then said how I could have killed you myself how does that even work? I don't know but we should leave soon I saw a bunch of people that knew us and I want to rush out before people find Henry in this place. Zed said that's a good idea and we say bye to Henry and Lewis for now. Zed and I check out and get back to the car before anyone sees us. Zed stays silent the whole time until we are almost downtown. He says "we don't have to do this if you don't want to, I don't want to pressure you to get into fame it's not that easy."If I didn't want to do this would I be here? I always wanted to hang out with you and be a part of your life, yesterday you said meeting Henry was a big part of your life and change how you looked at things and brought you more fame. Then he says, I said that for One Direction not just Henry. Yes, you're right but if you didn't meet Henry then you wouldn't have met me. Even though I didn't meet you till just a little bit after the band got together Henry and I have known each other before the band started he's changed and we all need change. Zed got out of the car and walked around and opened my door. I stepped out of the car and Zed grabs my hand and holds it. He kissed me and said "If this is what you want then I am here for you." He then let me out of the car letting go of my hand. We both walk down the sidewalk and I see a few places I've never been. Zed says I want to show you a few of my favorite places on this side of town. We walk to Zed's favorite painting museum and he tells me about one of the paintings he made and brought it here and gave it to them to ask how it was they gave him a VIP pass for this place and hung up his painting. We walked to his painting and he told me that it represents Love and no matter who comes into his life it will represent anyone around him that he loves. It was an Infinity symbol with colors that represent forever. We walked to his other favorite places and told me about them and why they are special. We walked out of the last building downtown that he wanted to show me and waited for a little bit. Zed looked at me and said, fans are coming over do you want to talk to them? I said sure and when they were still walking over I started to smile and wave they screamed its Zed guys omg. They stopped and said can we get a picture with you guys. I looked at Zed and he nodded and smiled. I know he hates pictures sometimes when he thinks he looks bad but he doesn't even look bad any time he says it which is not very often. I always try to take pictures with him so that's why I know. He then grabbed my waist and pulled me next to him with another girl on the other side one of the girls took a picture and I took a picture of them together and the other girl that took the last picture wanted a picture with Zed and me so I said okay and switched places with the other girl. We all stood on the sidewalk and one of the girls asked Zed who I was to him. Zed looked at me and nodded at me. I said Zed and I are dating. I looked at Zed and he started getting anxious I looked away from him and he brushed his hand on my back. I started wrapping up the conversation by saying. It's very nice to meet you guys what's your name? One of them said, my name is Olivia. Zed brushed his hand on my arm again so I slid my hand around to find Zed's hand to hold it. I grabbed his hand and the other girl said, My name is Rebecca. I said nice to meet you both and asked can I take a picture with you guys so I will remember you. They said yeah and I got out my phone and got close to them with Zed's hand still in mine. I took the picture and hugged them both and said see you guys it's nice to meet you. We walked separate ways and Zed looked at me. I smiled and said are you okay now. He said I'm getting there I'm still shaky. I feel that Zed's hand is shaking in mine and I rub my thumb on him to calm him as we walk back to the car. We get back to the car and get in we drive back to the hospital and see Henry again and get Lewis and go back to the SOML building. On the way back I look up the girls that Zed and I met on Instagram and find them, I find them both and follow them. When we get back to the building Lewis says I'm going to stay here all week and next weekend before the concert. I then say oh yea I forgot about the concert I'll be going to with you guys. Henry explained that he will be getting me in with you guys this time while we were at the hospital. I didn't think about the concert being this close. Lewis walked down the hall with us and went to his room then Zed and I went to my room further down the hall. Zed then said this is the last place I want to show you which is my favorite. We walked down the hall and around the corner to the stage room. Zed stopped me and said this is the place we met the table is not here but it's still the exact spot we met It's my most favorite place.
