The next generation: Klee, Qiqi, Diona and someone else

"Klee, stay safe while your at school, alright? Don't get hurt, and remember to tell me anything you need to get off your chest," Diluc said as he patted Klee's head lovingly.

It's been a few years ever since two soulmates were gone, and Diluc decided to take care of Klee. The adorable kid found him weird at first, but warmed up to him as time went by. He always bought her gifts of her preferences that are oddly.. different from other kids? Instead of liking dolls, toy cars and slime kits, she loved science experiments. Specifically, ones that included explosions, and bombs. Of course, Diluc didn't mind, but his money would be long gone after he buys a volcano experiment every time.

"Bye bye, brother! I'll see you after schooool!!" Klee says as she hops onto the school bus. She sits with her friends, Qiqi and Diona.

"Hey, did ya know? Apparently there's a new kid coming to class today! I hope it's a girl! Boys are awful!" Diona  complains. She gets bullied by all the boys since they get jealous of her skills.

As a kid, Diona was taking care of her father as if he was a toddler. Being an alcoholic, he never taught his kid to do anything, so Diona learnt everything herself. Reading hard words, tidying a bed, and even cooking a simple meal. That was how responsible and hardworking she was. She always loved getting attention from her friends and teachers, due to the fact that she didn't get much attention from her father. So, she tried her best in everything and eventually became one of the smartest children in her grade.

Qiqi, however, could not learn anything. Her parents died in a car crash, while she only survived. Her memory became horrible due to the incident. In the orphanage, nobody liked her that much, except for a young man that took her in. His name was Baizhu, a pharmacist that has a pet snake. The thing is, he only adopted Qiqi since he needed a helper for picking up herbs. He knew that the forgetful child would most likely be bad at the job, but he didn't mind.

And then there's Klee. Other than her obsession with explosions, she was a bright kid. She knew what happened to Albedo, but acknowledged the fact that he is resting in peace with his partner. She stills sobs on Diluc's shoulder about it sometimes, making the red haired man shed a few tears too. They both cry with each other alot, knowing the pain of losing their loved ones. She was a smart kid, curious in everything and always finding solutions to problems. She was that bright friend in her group, while Qiqi and Diona weren't so positive.

"Qiqi hopes the new child is nice..," Qiqi slowly says.

"Children, settle down now. We have a new student!! This is Teucer," the teacher, Yoimiya, announces, catching everyones attention.

"Ew! A boy!" Diona huffs.

The small boy sits next to Klee, who's seat next to her was empty.

"Hey, I'm Klee!! I've heard you somewhere ... Do I know your family or something?" Klee asked, she remembered a time where some adult talked about their little brother named Teucer.

"Oh! Your Klee? My brother knows you. His name is Childe! His a toy maker, y'know? He also told me to say hi to you!!" Teucer smiles.

"Tell him I said hi back! Now let's pay attention in class, I'll talk to you during lunch," Klee whispers.

During lunch, Klee and Teucer talk alot, mostly about their brothers. Klee talks about how strong and powerful and amazing Diluc is, while Teucer talks about how smart, caring and awesome Childe is.

Diona and Qiqi just talked to each other, knowing that they didn't wanna interrupt.

"Brother!!!" Both Klee and Teucer shout excitingly when they see their brothers chatting outside the school gate. They both run up and hug them, earning hugs back.

"Hi Mr.Childe!!" Klee waves.

"Hello Mr. Diluc!!" Teucer waves too.

Childe and Diluc smile before letting their siblings know they need to go. Klee sighs while saying her goodbyes to Teucer.

"How was school, dear?" Diluc asks.

"Amazing! Teucer was a new kid and he was so nice! And then we fought over who had the better brother and guess what! I won the battle, heheh," Klee goes on and on until they reach their apartment.

I'll prob write two more klee stories then start with the kaebedo short stories

should I do childe x diluc... I'm not such a fan of it but it would make sense here.... But I don't know
