Epilogue

I was sitting by my new found favorite tree. It was an apple blossom tree. Heaven was so beautiful. I loved it here.

I wondered how my family was doing.  I looked down on my dad, he was sleeping in his truck outside of a bar.

I decided to switch to Sam before I felt too bad for him.

Brent came up and hugged me from behind. He nuzzled his face in my neck. I hummed softly. "Whatcha doing? He asked.

"Watching over Sam." I answered.

Suddenly a view of my old house showed and I saw Sam, a woman and a little boy in the kitchen. It looked like they were baking something.

I've been dead for 4 years now. Shortly after I moved on to heaven, Sam met a woman, they fell in love, and have been together for not quite 4 years.

After only a year of them being together, she told Sam that she was pregnant with his child. And now today I have a cute little 3 year old nephew named Landon.

I smiled as the little boy ran around.

I snuggled against Brent's chest and sighed.

"I wish we had the chance to have kids" I whispered.

"Maybe in another life" he whispered and kissed the top of my head.
