The light of the sun traveled down through the window, blinding me once I had opened my eyes. I groaned softly, listening to the sound of the birds chirping through the window.

I glanced over to my side, finding Hange sleeping peacefully beside me. The blankets were pulled up to their chin and their hair was sprawled across the pillow beneath them.

It took me a moment before realizing that the only thing covering my body was the blanket on top of me. I had almost forgotten of the night and me and Hange spent together just hours ago, and so this explained perfectly why I was waking in their bed.

I turned back around so my back was facing Hange and I was looking out of their window. It was still open, and I could listen in on the sound of the birds outside chirping. The bed beside me started to dip softly and Hange's arm wrapped around my body and pulled me in closer.

I turned my neck and glanced over to them, their eyes glowing like honey and their skin glowing orange from the sunlight. "Morning." I mumble.

"Good morning." Hange whispers. "I didn't wake you up, right?"

"No." I turned over so that I was facing Hange. My head rested between their shoulder and their face, and they planted a kiss on my forehead. Their hand traveled up to the back of my head, and stroked my hair softly. I felt like I was about to fall asleep for the second time in their arms.

"Oh," Hange's eyes opened wide, like they remembered something suddenly. "Hey, we have a meeting today, concerning us traveling down to the ocean."

"We're really doing that?" I ask.

"It's part of our job to explore the world around us." Hange said, pulling themselves out of my grasp and sitting up, the blankets pooling in their lap.

"We should get dressed, so we can head down and not keep them waiting too long."

"When's the meeting?" I ask, pulling the blankets up to my shoulders.

"I believe it starts in about fifteen minutes. We have plenty of time still." Hange glanced over to me, smiling softly. "What, you getting shy all the sudden?" They ask, tugging lightly on the blankets I had covering my chest.

"No!" I almost stuttered, loosening my grip and pulling them down slightly.

"I'm just kidding." They said, getting up and pulling out a new pair of clothes. They also threw some over to me. "I won't look if you don't want me to."

"No, don't worry, it's okay." I said, getting up and changing into the clothes that they handed me. They clothes smelled just like them. I felt my face heating up just at the realization that I was wearing Hange's clothes.

I sat back down on the bed, putting on my socks and beginning to put on the boots. I was interrupted when Hange slid onto the bed and wrapped their arms around my waist. "Didn't we have an amazing time last night?"

I tended up, playfully hitting Hange on the top of their head. "Shut up!" I laugh.

"What! You didn't like it?" They acted offended, dramatically pulling away from me. "Wow."

"No, I didn't mean that!" I said, leaning back and trying to pull them closer to me again. "I'm sorry, Hange. It was great, okay? I loved it. Now get back here!"

"Fine." Hange laughs, attaching themself to me as we continued to get ready for the meeting.

"Hey, thanks for joining us." Levi says simply. "Arlert here has plans concerning the ocean."

"Yeah, Armin's always wanted to see the ocean, so I think we should bring him there." Eren said.

"So what's the plan to getting there?" Hange asks.

"Armin's got that all sorted out for you." Eren says. "We just need to check with you before so we know we're approved to head down there."
