Terra's PoV :

Another day has passed, another chance lost to find him. I looked towards my parchment of todays ' To Do ' list, all crossed off but one. "To Hobbiton it is, then", a sigh left my lips as I continued my walk towards my destination. Hobbiton was a place I did not have to regularly visit, as it was a place where not many dreamed of adventure and so nothing really bad happened there. Although I have never entered Hobbiton myself, I have scoured the edges to make sure everything is okay inside of the peaceful hills.

As I met the first edge of the small village, filled with Hobbit Holes, I noticed a peculiar shape. What was meant to be a village filled with 4" beings, had a being that was about 5"11 with a giant stick held in his hands and a crooked hat on his head. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion at the appearance of this man, however my lips disobeyed my curios gaze as they quirked up at the funny thought of a man this tall walking through a hobbit hole. I finally decided to not just watch his actions from afar and decided to come closer. What shocked me was his sudden turn to face my direction.

"I know you're there", the man said towards my direction, "show yourself."

To say I didn't know what to do would be an understatement, I hadn't allowed anyone to see me in so long. However, as soon as I hesitated I heard my mother's voice.

"They will help you find him."

That is all it took to give me the push to come out of the shadows. I looked at the man, and the only expression he held was a smile. One of kindness and knowing. That's when it clicked, my footsteps quickened as I raced the small paths towards my old friend, one who had helped me settle in Middle Earth and learn its ways quicker than I ever would had if alone.

"Mithrandir!", the certainty brought a wider smile to his lips as he opened his arms for the embrace I was to surely give him. And I did. My arms flew around his waist, my head connecting with his chest; hugging the man, I had known so long ago, as if we were the only ones on this Earth. After a few moments of near silence, he cupped my cheek and brought my face to face his.

"You have grown so beautifully Terra", his smile welcomed me to a sense of home, a word I had not considered in many years to be able to find. A tear trailed down my face, and as soon as it reached my cheek he swiped it away, "Now, now. Tears do not belong in your eyes, my dear.", a smile etched its way onto my face, and a small giggle left my lips.

"It has been quite a long time Mellon, I think I can afford to shed a few tears upon our meeting again.", a small laugh escaped his lips at this with a small side-to-side tilting of his head to demonstrate his sarcastic reply of a maybe. That is when a well thought question came to mind.

"Mithrandir, why are you in Hobbiton?", this question led to more laughter escaping his mouth, as if the answer was obvious. This made me pout, making it a very clear statement that this behaviour annoyed me, and also that I had no idea what he was to be doing here, at night, in the town of Hobbiton. Quickly pulling away from the hug, I took him by the shoulders and slightly shook him whilst explaining in elven tongue how bad of an idea it was to be in a place as judgmental as Hobbiton, when you are over 4"3.

"Trust me, little one," he interrupted, "we have business here."

My face instantly changed from stressed to perplexed with one single word.

"We?", I asked as he hurried me towards a hobbit hole, by my arm.

As we arrived at the door to the hobbit hole, he turned to me and answered, "Yes. We", he then knocked on the door. The sound pulled me from my thoughts, as it was now clear that there wasn't just a hobbit in that hole.
