Chapter Sixteen

I couldn't sleep last night because I knew today was training day and I felt like I might get my ass kicked today. Then again maybe not because of my strength. I lay in my bed thinking about what would happen today when Alec, Caroline, and Alexis were coming and just what kind of training they were starting me out with. I was stuck in my thoughts when I heard a loud knock outside my door. "Clair, you need to get up, it's boot camp day sweet cheeks" He said laughing.

I growled slightly the way he said that along with rolling my eyes. I slowly crawled out of my bed and made my way to my dresser. I decided to go with a simple tank top and leggings since it was boot camp day. I wasn't sure how long training was going to be, Klaus never really explained how long it would take to train me. I then grabbed a hair tie and put my hair up into a messy bun making sure my long hair was out of the way.

As I opened up the door and stepped out, Klaus looked me up and down whistled at me. I blushed slightly and he laughed me. "You're so hot when you blush babe" he said which only made me blush even more which made me want to punch him in the face at the same time. "Alec, Caroline, and Alexis should be here soon. You won't be doing actual boot camp today, it's still boot camp, but more of a lesson training. Today you'll be learning how to control the Lycan within you. That is most important part before you are right any combat training in that form"

I shot him a dirty look and then I remembered when I first shifted and then when I lost control of it again at his house and then looked down to the ground. "No need to feel ashamed Clair, we all had to learn to control our lycan part of us which is more superior than werewolves, but we did it and I believe you can do it. After all you're going to be my Luna to my pack so you will need to learn how to fight either way." I shook my head in acknowledgement.

"Perhaps we should go outside and start practicing until they get here?" He asked me coming close to me as he pulled me into his chest and hugged me. I tried to wiggle out of his arms, but his grip was tight and I let out a growl. "You're sexy when you're feisty" With that I took one of my free arms and punched him in the face sending him flying across the yard as I put my hands over my mouth in shock. I went running to see if he was okay and he was laying in the grass laughing his ass off while his nose bled. "What's so funny?" I asked with a confused look on my face. But he only laughed more which made me upset.

"Clair, I'm probably gonna get punched for this, but you doing that to me was quite the turn on for me" This time my face went full blown red from blushing. I was going to punch him until I heard someone's voice. "Awe did we miss the fight already and you have your ass kicked from your own mate? Tell me are you really alpha of a lycan pack?" It was Caroline and I bursted out laughing, not because of what she said, but it did look like I beat Klaus's ass. I heard a growl come from Klaus as he quickly got up and already had his hand on Caroline's neck squeezing it hard, but not enough to make her struggle to breath. "I suggest watching your sarcasm when you speak little dumpling, or I'll break your neck like a twig" He said with a sinister smile dropping her onto the ground.

I've never seen Klaus look that angry before and I've never seen him act like that. Seeing that made my stomach sink a little and made a mental note within myself to not piss him off. I was snagged out of my thoughts when he was yelling at me and trying to get my attention. "Clair, Alexis and Alec are here, let's start training you to control your lycan!" He said.

"The first lesson is learning to control your emotions. It's vital that you do or you could hurt not just us, but humans too and pretty much them. We are going to put you through a lot of mental and emotional tests today. Now you're probably not going to gain any control over yours until you're a week in, and once you're in control, that's when the real training will begin". I shook my head.

The first round was placing me in a chair and asking me a series of questions and see how'd I'd respond to them. At first I thought it was going to be easy but then the questions started getting harder, but I remained calm the entire time. The second round however, I had issues with and almost failed it. I was tied to a chair and I was blindfolded, the object was to escape without using any of my lycan strength to escape and without shifting. It took me just a few min m to figure it out and then I broke my arms free and took the blindfold off.

They all looked at me impressed and looked shocked at the same time. "You've done so well Clair. Now the next round we want you to shift into your Lycan and we are going to begin teaching you to fight in your wolf form. I believe you can do it, you're more advanced than us it seems. It took us a week to two weeks to figure out how to stay calm those first two rounds. But I want to warn you that those were very basic and simple tactics to learn. Now you're going to be doing some real training." Alec said looking at me with a serious face. Even when he wasn't dressed as a doctor and in regular clothes, he still looked pretty hot, but not as hot as Klaus.

"Clair are you alright?" Alec asked and I nodded my head and asked why. "Well you haven't stopped staring at me." He said winking at me as I blushed and he laughed. Him and Klaus are so much alike when it comes to things like that. I rolled my eyes. "Alright now the 3rd round will be starting and after this round we will call it a day and continue training tomorrow." Alec said as everyone shifted into their Lycan forms but me.

I wasn't sure why I didn't shift like them. I tried really hard to shift into my lycan but nothing was happening. I really haven't tried shifting into my lycan since I went hunting here. I started to panic a little bit as they were all staring at me in their lycan form and they were all growling at me until I heard a growl from behind me and I knew exactly who's it was. There standing behind me as he slowly started walking infront of me was Klaus in his lycan form. He was beautiful. I put my hand on his back as he seemed to be okay with it.

They continued to growl at me while Klaus on the other hand still stood infront of me being protective of me. I tried to think how to shift, but my first time I wasn't in control, and the second time I was hungry and was able to shift right away and hunt. I tried to focus and see if that would help but it didn't. They got real close to Klaus and that's when I let out I defensive growl and my eyes turned a purple reddish color. I also felt around my mouth with my tongue band all of my canines were out and sharper than any razor.
They ignored Klaus's growl as one of them nipped Klaus and that's when I got really upset and I shifted into my beautiful white wolf and growled back at them. This time there had been a lot of power in that growl and for some reason they all backed away from Klaus and stared at me. I was bigger and taller than Klaus and the rest of them.

I forgot they'd never seen my actual lycan form fully accept for Klaus. I went over by Alec and stood next to him while the others looked at me and observed me. The brown one I could tell was Alec, the grey one was Alexis, and the tan brown one was Caroline. For some reason Alec never turned his gaze away from me. Klaus stepped in his path and snarled at Alec. "Clair, if you can here me you need to get back in the house now. Your Lycan is giving off a scent. I will explain once you get away from us and get in the house." I heard Klaus mind link me and what did he mean by my scent? I quickly shifted back into my human form and ran back into the house seeing Alec and Klaus fight while Caroline and Alexis tried to break it up.

"You better claim her Klaus or I will" Alec threatened as his eyes turned black.
