Episode 2: This is personal

Alex and Brian rode up the elevator talking about what would be a good first job for Brian. When they stepped off something caught Alex's eye. It was one of the employees in the office.

"Ooooo someone got a crush?" Brian teased.

"Get me a cup of water" Alex ordered.

"I did not sign up to be your fucking assistant"

"Just get it" 

Brian rolled his eyes and walked over to the water cooler and grabbed a cup. He gave it to Alex. 

"Hey Amy," Alex said.

"Yeah?"

When she turned to face Alex he threw the water in her face.

"WHAT THE FUCK!" She screamed.

Alex grabbed her by the chin and took a tissue to wipe her face off. While doing this he also wiped off her makeup revealing a large bruise.

"WELL?!" 

"Jakob hits you doesn't he?" Alex said softly.

"Wh-what no," Amy said pulling away.

"Amy"

"It was only once. It was a misunderstanding" She explained.

"And your daughter?"

"No never" 

Alex looked at her and she looked down at the floor. He knew she was lying. 

"Go up to my office there's a spare women's suit you can borrow in my closet"

Alex began to walk back to the elevator and Brian followed. 

"Why do you have women's clothes in your closet?"

"For situations like this"

"You regularly assault your employees?"

"No" 

Alex and Brian got into Alex's black Mercedes.

"Where are we scouting now?" Brian asked.

"Nowhere. This is personal"

"....Ok then. What was with the water?"

"I suspected her living garbage husband has been abusing her for a few months now and I noticed she was wearing extra concealer this morning"

The rest of the ride was silent until they stopped outside a house in the suburbs.

"Get out you're driving" 

While Brian swapped to the driver's seat Alex approached the house and knocked. A teenage girl came to the door. She was short with ginger hair and freckles. 

"Hey, I'm a friend of your mom's. She's busy at work and wants me to give you a ride to her" Alex said.

"Fucking creep" The girl responded.

Alex chuckled.

"Smart. You must be Kara. For real though I am a friend of your mother's. Her boss actually. I need to talk to your father"

"Is she ok?"

"Oh yeah, she's right as rain. I need your father.

"DAD!"

An overweight man wearing a wife-beater came to the door.

"Heh fitting"

"Huh?"

Alex flipped open his butterfly knife and held it to the man's stomach.

"Me and you are gonna take a ride"
