Chapter 2

Jimin walked the halls of Building C and a sense of fascination overtook him. It wasn't necessarily a full building, just a bunch of different shaped cabins each coloured with a different palette.

It smelled of baby powder and cookies. He walked the narrow passageways between the cabins, once passing by one that was a midnight blue heart and he couldn't help but stare in awe and smile at it appreciatively. Occasionally he'd have to duck under the mini bridges that had been created to connect one cabin to another. He'd see children running about, playing games, some having just discovered their powers pulling little pranks on their friends. They ran by him, giggling, before yelling a sorry back at him for almost making him trip and all he could do was chuckle.

Remembering the times before Academy Vacations he and the other double holders had visited the place so they could see Jennie and Taehyung. But their notion of wanting to see them was repudiated and he hoped that now it would be different. He wasn't sure how, he didn't want to raise his hopes and imagine the two awake and healthy or that they weren't in critical condition anymore. Both seemed like such a faraway reality, thoughts and dreams that would only remain tightly shut in his head.

But then again, the two were some of the most powerful people Jimin had ever known. And there was no way they'd stay like that forever. Maybe not forever, whispered his inner conscious, but perhaps a long long time.

"Jimin?"

Lost in his thoughts, he realized he was already at the end of the pathway that had all the cabins. Now, he stood in front of a bigger building, like a hotel but only three floors. Each floor was coloured different, the bottom was blue, the middle floor orange and the top was yellow. It reminded them of movies he would watch in his childhood where the main character would go to a new school full of wonders, new friends and exciting adventures. A child having a new experience.

"Is that you?" A wave of violet hair went past his vision and in seconds there stood Jisoo in front of him. She was wearing a blue shirt and a pink sweater that harmonized with her hair. He could see the surprise on her face and in an instant, her eyes sparkled with kindness.

"You're here? You guys came back today?" She excitedly mumbled, but he couldn't seem to reply.

A rock was stuck in his throat, pushing back on his words and not letting him speak.

"Oh my God," she breathed, not realizing he wasn't speaking at all. "We haven't been able to contact you and the boys at all! But I'll let you know now, Jungkook's awake!" She exclaimed excitedly, grabbing a hold of his two hands.

In an instant, he swallowed down his spit and exclaimed, "Where is he?" She pulled on his hand as she opened the door of the building and ran inside.

"He's awake but he's still sick so they've been keeping him at Building C,"

"Building C, why?"

"Well, almost everyone who had been injured in the Siege of the Castle has been healed. Only the seriously wounded remain in emergency rooms which are located in Building C. Jungkook still needed care and treatment so he had to stay near the nurses and doctors for checkups and treatments, especially since his immune system has been very weak and his two powers have been going crazy as he can't control them well. So instead of making the doctors and nurses go to another whole building to take care of him, they decided to give him a small room where the emergency patients were so its easier to look after him," they ran through the hallway, and on his way, Jimin managed to glance into what seemed to be a cafeteria, chairs and tables everywhere with a few doctors and nurses taking a break and eating.
