The door shut behind her with a loud click and suddenly she was faced with the darkness of their living room. Irene could barely make her way around the dorm. The darkness looked like two-dimensional, chaotic polygon holes that transformed on the spot and moved around in the environment, consuming and bending the light like a black hole.

She tiptoed to the kitchen and opened the fridge, the refrigerator light brightening up the grey space as she grabbed a bottle of water and drank down a few sips.

Sweat was running down her forehead, small strands of her hair and the back of her shirt sticking to her skin. She was breathing heavy, and it seemed that nothing was helping. Closing the fridge, she decided to take the bottle back with her to her room. She could now properly make out their sofas in the living room, frames of the tables and shelves slowly taking form as she moved. Her eyes adjusted to the darkness just as she turned the knob of her door and pushed, entering her shared room with Jisoo.

Previous Semester she shared it with Jisoo and Wendy but with Wendy having moved her bedroom to the attic, it was just the two of them now.

The watch on her bedside table rang five in the morning and everyone had already made themselves comfortable in their beds and were off to sleep. She had just reached the dorm this morning, having started her journey after the boys had left and the first day of Majestic Academy would start tomorrow. This would be the last semester the Double holders would be attending. Or at least, that's what they were expecting.

At Majestia, there isn't a specific set of years you have to come to school to be able to graduate like what they have in western education. Here, you're passed into levels, not grades. And those levels are called classes, such as Class B or Class C. And you're put into these levels according to your abilities and knowledge, not your age. So even if you're just a child, you can make it to the highest class if the teachers think you attain the specific set of requirements for that level. And you graduate once it's been made sure that you've learned and accomplished everything that Majestic Academy has to offer.

That's why many different ages of people come together in the same class and also why some people graduate much early. Momo's brother Yuta for example graduated at the age of seventeen from Majestic Academy, much earlier than the average age of twenty. And thus, he was able to acquire a job and afford his living much earlier than Momo who was two years younger than him.

And of course, to graduate you have to pass an examination. And a very difficult one at that. Any student that thinks themselves capable enough of being able to graduate places themselves on a list.  And by the end of the semester, all those people gather together and allot the final trial. It's different for each person according to their weaknesses and strengths and so there's really not much cheating you can do, and if you pass, you've officially graduated and can move on from Majestic Academy to either find yourself a stable job or go on to college to further enhance your studies, though the latter option is usually only for the rich as many can't afford college.

This year, the girls and bangtan were hoping to finally be able to graduate, as many students attempt to take the test once they turn of age, which in Majestia is twenty years old.

But as she felt nausea reaching her stomach, making her wince and cringe in extreme annoyance, she couldn't help but wonder how she would even make it past the next day or more horrendously, the next night she'd have to attempt to sleep.

Every day, in the middle of the night, Irene would wake up in cold sweats due to a nightmare. Sometimes it would show her the open fields of the Royal Castle, still lit on fire by Tzuyu's flame. In others, she was stuck in the same place she and Namjoon had talked, where she'd told him of Wendy's precognition of Yoongi dying. The Butterfly Garden, so bare of life and butterflies she could barely recognise the place when she'd been there and even in her nightmare, it seemed like such a foreign place.
