****(Drew's P.O.V, 3rd person narration)

Drew shifted uncomfortably in his seat as the weight of the step-twins' stares and silent judgement crushed him.

Normally, he'd make fun of them, but technically he's the one who crawled in there so it's sort of not a place to do anything he wanted.

Why did he agree to this again?!

Oh yeah.

Then he recounted events of that morning.

Drew ended the call with his older sister; he headed back into the cafeteria and sat at his table.

There, he saw his friends. Liam was covering his red face with a tissue and sneezing uncontrollably while Henry was munching on some garlic bread.

"Fuck you, Henry"Liam hissed.

"What? It's delicious!"Henry smirked at him mischievously.

Drew sighed, why was he friends with them again?

"Ugh, what happened this time?"

"That stupid asshole keeps shoving garlic bread in my face!"Liam complained.

"Well, that's because it's delicious!"Henry replied.

"No, it's not! It's disgusting!"

"YOU'RE JUST BEING A BABY!"

"I'M ALMOST HALF A MILLENIA OLDER THAN YOU!"

The pair continued bickering as something, or rather, someone, caught Drew's attention.

A handsome boy, roughly 170 cm tall, walked through as the eyes of every girl (and some guys  as well) in the cafeteria stared at him in awe. They were admiring every strand peach-coloured hair that fell onto his face, his expensive-looking clothes (that were surprisingly all either made by his mother or bought from a thrift store), his brown eyes, his smile, his everything. Why wouldn't they? After all, he was the best-looking guy in their entire school; to everyone, he was the embodiment of perfection. That was Jake Sterling, Drew's best friend since middle school.

However, despite the loving crowd, Drew still managed to catch a few hateful and envious glares.

'Idiots,'he thought, how could anybody hate Jake? Yes, he could be a jerk (mostly due to Drew's influence), but he's not really a bad person.

That's when Drew realized he was approaching their table instead of the music club's. Normally, that would be expected, but lately Jake's been spending most of his time with his so-called "new friends".

"Hey guys!" Jake slipped into the seat next to Drew's.

Drew didn't even notice himself staring at him nor did he feel his cheeks turning the same colour as Liam's jacket.

He shook his head slightly; what was that?

"Sup, Jake," Drew said in a monotone voice, despite how happy he was.

The other two morons didn't even sneak a glance at Jake; they just continued their fight.

"Uh, what's going on?" Jake whispered and pointed at the two.

"Usual stuff," he sighed,"Hey, um, shouldn't you and your freak friends be rehearsing right now?"

"Not that I'm complaining,"Drew thought to himself.
